Set sail on an incredible cruise tailored for accessibility, whether you're yearning for a sun-drenched escape or a deeper exploration of Spain and Portugal's west coast. Departing from Southampton, your journey unfolds on P&O's distinguished Iona cruise ship, where you'll indulge in a wealth of onboard amenities.

Your first port after departing Southampton takes you to the beautiful A Coruña, a fascinating Galician city with strong connections to the fashion and fishing industries and a wealth of world-class seafood restaurants to boot. Next its off to the Canary Islands stopping at Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote. At each location you will see the striking volcanic beauty of the islands as well as get the chance to do some shopping or enjoy the beaches in these sun soaked destinations. Then it's back over to Spain as you head to the romantic port of Cadiz. Almost entirely surrounded by water this pretty city gives an insight into Spains Arabic Heritage. The holiday concludes with a magical 2 day stay in Lisbon Portugal. The capital of Portugal and a Limitless favourite you will be able to marvel at its candy coloured buildings whilst sampling a delicious custard tart on an organised tour by Limitless.

Throughout your trip, you’ll be accompanied by the Limitless Team, who will provide care, support and assistance as and when you require it. On the ship, if required your cabin can be fully accessible, as are the vast majority of the Iona's other facilities. With 30 restaurants and bars, swimming pools, entertainment venues, a steam room and sauna and a large cinema, there’s plenty to enjoy when you spend the day at sea. As with most cruises, your holiday properly starts at sea. Today you will get time to know the ship as we head towards the Iberian Peninsula, taking in the spectacular sea views as we go and making the most of the ship’s impressive facilities. You will have the chance to meet the rest of the group and get to grips with your new home for the next couple of weeks.

A Coruña - Spain

Land Ahoy! Today we visit our first port after a hearty breakfast. The Limitless team will inform the group where to meet and then you will all disembark together. A Coruña's Transatlantic Quay, positioned on the northwestern tip of the Iberian Peninsula, holds the surprising distinction of being the closest European port to New York. This charming blend of old and new features beaches along its two-mile coastline. The old town, centred around Maria Pita Square, boasts shops, bars, and restaurants, along with captivating museums like the interactive House of Mankind, an aquarium, and a planetarium. As the main Atlantic gateway to the ruggedly scenic Galicia, La Coruña offers access to Santiago de Compostela, a world-renowned pilgrimage site with a Romanesque cathedral.

After an exciting day visiting your first destination, today will be spent back on board the magnificent Iona. Today, why not enjoy a film at the Cinema, or maybe head to the impressive theatre to catch a show. Remember to keep your eyes peeled for the Horizon news paper which will document the time and venues of all that will be taking place on the ship. These include quizzes, bingo, karaoke, magic acts and much more.

By now you should be comfortable in your new home and getting an understanding of where everything is on this beautiful ship. Today would be the perfect chance to sample one of the extensive dinning options on board. With many included in your fare you may think its not worth trying one of the speciality restaurants on the Iona but we would recommend you browse the menu's and speak to the staff as something may catch your fancy.

Today marks our arrival in Gran Canaria, the most densely populated and arguably the most naturally diverse of the Canary Islands. Experience a glimpse of the island's natural beauty as we approach, culminating in our docking at the Santa Catalina cruise terminal. This terminal not only provides excellent access to the island's vibrant capital, Las Palmas, but is also conveniently located just 100 meters from Muelle, a popular local shopping complex. For those inclined towards the city centre, explore Vegueta, the trendy old quarter of Las Palmas. If the beach beckons, Playa de las Canteras is easily within reach.

Arrecife, Lanzarote

After 3 days on shore we are sure you are looking forward to relaxing today. Why not visit one of the many pools on board. One comes complete with a lift so everyone can enjoy the waters. It is worth noting that sometimes this does need to be pre booked so if you are wanting to take a dip then make sure you speak with the Limitless Team and on board staff to get everything confirmed early to avoid disappointment.

Following yesterday's guided tour with the Limitless Team, today is dedicated to checking off any remaining sights on your list that you haven't had the chance to see or those you'd like to revisit. As this is the last port of your cruise, take advantage of the day to collect souvenirs for your loved ones back home.

After an action packed few days today you will get the chance to relax on board as you head back towards home. If you are feeling like you would like some "me" time why not investigate the on board spa and wellness facilities. They even have a hair dresser!

Today you wake to your last full day on the ship. Make sure to revisit your favourite attractions on board, or try that restaurant you have been considering. Above all remember to catch up with your other Limitless guests and swap photo's and stories of your time away.

Disembark, Southampton


After your last breakfast, we’ll help you check-out. Your bags will be taken down by the Iona's crew and our care team will be on-hand to assist you. From here you will join the transfers back to the pick-up points, relaxed, rejuvenated and ready for your next Limitless adventure. We can’t wait to see you again!

Welcome aboard the Iona, a proud member of P&O's outstanding fleet of accessible ships. Boasting luxurious fittings and facilities, as well as a cool, contemporary style. Each accessible cabin comes with:

  • Accessible cabins available on request (very limited) - with wide access doors and space for mobility scooters to be stored
  • All bathrooms come with wet rooms, wide door access and grip-handles
  • Equipment hire available (including powered wheelchairs + hoists)
  • Outside, Balcony & Mini-Suite Cabins (prices may vary)

Full board: all meals are included in the price of your cruise holiday for complete ease and mouth-watering luxury at sea. There’s also an option to add a ‘drinks package’, which can be done either before or during your cruise.


Cruise Transfer


Included within your cruise holiday package with Limitless is a transfer from home (first 100-miles included, thereafter charged at £2.50 a mile) to the cruise ships port. Before booking we will always make sure you have the right transfer in place to take you to the port safely and comfortable.

*Please be aware that the door to door transfer is an accessible minibus not a private taxi, therefore we do advise guests to bring a support pillow for extra comfort if required.
