Your holiday begins! Whether you’ve made use of the complimentary parking or a Limitless transfer, our team will be there to help you check in your bags and board the ship. Those guests staying in an accessible cabin will also benefit from Priority Embarkation. We know check-in and boarding can be a nervous experience for some travellers, so Limitless assists with every aspect. Once aboard the cruise ship, you’ll have a chance to settle into your cabin, explore the ship, and meet your fellow Limitless Travellers. The Limitless Care Team is always available to provide support and ensure your holiday gets off to the best possible start.

Day 2 At Sea

Your first day at sea is all about exploring the ship and settling in. Typically, the Limitless Team meets with everyone in the morning to catch up over breakfast, make sure you had a comfortable night, discuss the day ahead, and plan activities. We often lunch and dine as a group as well, so you’re never short of company.

During days at sea, there’s plenty to see and do on the Queen Victoria. As a group, Limitless Travellers often enjoy a relaxed morning, followed by a group lunch and some afternoon fun - be it a theatre show or a musical performance. Then it’s time to get dressed up for a delicious dinner, followed by some fantastic evening entertainment. Of course, how you spend your day is entirely up to you! But it’s good to know that the Limitless Team and your fellow travellers are always around too.

As Zeebrugge is a closed port, Limitless cannot currently provide accessible transport between the ship and Bruges. However, this is a great opportunity for you to make the most of the ship's incredible facilities and enjoy the vessel at its quietest. Whether you choose to relax on deck, pamper yourself in the spa, or take part in scheduled activities, the friendly Limitless Team will be on hand throughout the day to offer support, company, and assistance on the ship.

Limitless Travellers wishing to visit the city can book on the Cunard excursion at an additional cost. Accessible places are limited and the excursion should be arranged with Cunard directly.

It’s New Year’s Eve in the Netherlands, and you’ve arrived at the country’s capital to explore its iconic waterways before the celebrations begin back on the Ventura in the evening. With the cruise terminal just a short distance from the heart of the city, you'll be picked up by the coach and head off on an included excursion - an accessible boat trip through the Amsterdam canals. This picturesque trip allows you to get into the heart of Amsterdam and see it at its best. 

In the evening, we’ll bring in the New Year in style while docked in Amsterdam port. Put on your glad rags and prepare to sing, party and enjoy a fantastic evening with your fellow passengers. With special NYE entertainment, this will be a night to remember.

Following last night’s celebrations, New Year's Day is an opportunity to kick back, relax and enjoy the ship’s incredible facilities. We’ll set sail for Cherbourg and bid farewell to Amsterdam in the early afternoon.

Whether you want to have a lie-in and enjoy your accessible cabin, welcome in the New Year with an indulgent breakfast at one of the luxury dining venues, or relax by the pool with a cocktail in hand, the Limitless team will be on hand to help you make the most of your day. The Queen Victoria is renowned for its entertainment. And, with more than eight entertainment venues to choose from, today might be the perfect day to catch a show.

From big stage spectaculars to intimate musical performances, there’s something for everyone aboard the Queen Victoria. Though the 800-seater Royal Theatre is the jewel in its crown, the ship hosts a wide range of other venues too. The Queens Room is an elegant homage to a bygone era, where guests can dance the night away to a live orchestra, and the Commodore Club offers excellent cocktails and even better piano performances. Fancy a little karaoke? The Yacht Club has you covered.

Limitless Accessible Walking Tour

One of Normandy’s most important port cities and the second-largest artificial harbour in the world, historic Cherbourg has played an influential role in northern Europe’s history. From the Norman invasion through the Hundred Years’ War to the D-Day landings, it has been key to Anglo-Franco relations for over a millennium.

Your Limitless Tour Manager will lead an optional guided walk through the city, highlighting its maritime heritage and landmarks. This includes the remains of WWII harbour defences, the marina and the town square. You’ll also have the chance to visit La Cité de la Mer, a gorgeous Art Deco museum housing a nuclear submarine and a fascinating exhibit on the Titanic. Along the way, we'll stop at a traditional cafe so the Limitless Team can treat you to a round of delicious crêpes. Whether you prefer sweet or savoury, it's a classic French snack, and your Cherbourg experience wouldn't be complete without one! If you would like to explore the city at your own pace, rather than join the guided walking tour, the town centre and marina boast a wealth of local shops and plenty of places to sample traditional French cuisine.

Following your final breakfast aboard the ship, the Limitless team will assist with check-out. The ship’s crew will take down your bags, and we’ll help you disembark, make sure you reach your pick-up, and say our farewells. Your transfer will then get you home, dropping you off at your front door.

Our accessible taxi transfers guarantee a stress-free start to your holiday. A door-to-door service, it ensures getting to and from the cruise terminal is easier than ever by using ramp-accessible vehicles with plenty of room for luggage and mobility equipment.

For journeys of 125 miles or less, this service is included in the price of your holiday. Additional fees may apply for longer transfers or those travelling from Yorkshire, North East England, or Wales.

FAQs

What’s included in a Cunard accessible cabin?

Accessible cabins are available on request. However, they are limited and places sell out quickly. Accessible Outside, Balcony & Mini-Suite Cabins may also be available, though prices will vary. Every accessible cabin features:

  • Wide access doors

  • Space for mobility scooters to be stored

  • Showers with wide door access, pull-down chairs and grip handles

  • Air conditioning

  • Satellite TV with movie and music channels

  • Tea and coffee-making facilities

An equipment hire service is available and includes powered wheelchairs and hoists.

How does Limitless assist with check in and boarding?

Having met the Limitless Team at the port, we'll accompany you to the special assistance check-in. As it's separate from regular check-in, there are no crowds or lengthy queues.

You'll then be given a boarding time. Usually, we board as a group. However, if this isn't possible and you would like the assistance, we ensure a carer accompanies you onto the ship.

We board via the accessible gangway. This ramp connects the ship to the port. If you require support or assistance, both the Limitless Team and the ship's crew will be on hand to help. There are also manual wheelchairs available to make this transfer easier.

On some ships, the accessible gangway can be a little steep. In these instances, two crew members will provide support - one in front and one behind. You'll never be rushed and your safety and comfort are always the priorities.

Remember, you don't need to pre-book any special assistance at the port! We provide this assistance as standard with all Limitless cruises.

What is Limitless Group Support & Holiday Assistance?

Group Support & Holiday Assistance is included as standard with all Limitless holidays. It's what sets us apart from every other UK holiday provider!

This level of support is suitable for those who do not require physical support, but may need a helping hand to make the most of their holiday experience. We provide this assistance in a group setting, so you must be able to support yourself if you intend to leave the group at any point.

What does Group Support & Holiday Assistance include?

What can Limitless do if I require additional care and support?

At Limitless, we offer a range of additional care packages if your require a little more assistance. This allows us to tailor care to individual Limitless Travellers and ensure your needs are met while on holiday.

They range from our Morning, Evening & Occasional Daytime Care package for travellers who require intermittent assistance with personal care to our One-to-One Care With Hoisting package for travellers who would benefit from comprehensive, all-day care.

What are anchor ports and is Limitless responsible for port changes?

At Limitless Travel, we carefully select cruise itineraries with minimal anchor ports. Anchor ports are those destinations where port logistics mean a small boat or ‘tender’ transport is required to ferry guests to shore. In the vast majority of cases, these tenders are not accessible and some Limitless Travellers will not be able to leave the ship.

Unfortunately, port changes can happen due to any number of reasons while at sea. Limitless Travel cannot be held accountable for any such port changes.
