Your holiday begins! Whether you’ve made use of the complimentary parking or a Limitless transfer, our team will be there to help you check in your bags and board the ship. Those guests staying in an accessible cabin will also benefit from Priority Embarkation. We know check-in and boarding can be a nervous experience for some travellers, so Limitless assists with every aspect. You can learn about our check in and boarding support in greater detail in our FAQs.
Once aboard the cruise ship, you’ll have a chance to settle into your cabin, explore the ship, and meet your fellow Limitless travellers. The Limitless Care Team is always available to provide support and ensure your holiday gets off to the best possible start.
Your first day at sea is all about exploring the ship and settling in. Typically, the Limitless Team meets with everyone in the morning to catch up over breakfast, make sure you had a comfortable night, discuss the day ahead, and plan activities. We often lunch and dine as a group as well, so you’re never short of company.
During days at sea, there’s plenty to see and do on the Ventura. As a group, Limitless travellers often enjoy a relaxed morning, followed by a group lunch and some afternoon fun - be it a theatre show or a movie. Then it’s time to get dressed up for a delicious dinner, followed by some fantastic evening entertainment. Of course, how you spend your day is entirely up to you! But it’s good to know that the Limitless Team and your fellow travellers are always around too.
Situated along the banks of the Elbe River, 70 miles inland from Travemünde, Hamburg is Germany’s second-largest city and its most important port. As a result, it boasts a wealth of maritime heritage and a fascinating history. The city’s extensive waterways mean it’s home to over 2,300 bridges, more than Venice, London, and Amsterdam combined.
Wander around the endless landmarks in the Altstadt (Old Town) and check out the church steeples, baroque architecture and beautiful red brick buildings. Explore Hamburg’s gorgeous green spaces or get a feel for its excellent art scene in the Kunsthalle museum. One of Europe’s coolest and most underappreciated cities, Hamburg is a delight to explore.
* There is a small chance a water tender will be used to disembark at Hamburg port. Tenders may limit accessibility, as wheelchair users or individuals with limited movement cannot always use them to disembark.
If you’re looking for a good time, the Iona is the place to be. The entertainment is second to none and, whether you want a little light fun in the afternoon or a full-blown evening spectacular, there’s always something to enjoy.
With out-of-this-world aerial shows, full-scale theatre productions, live music, dance and party evenings, stand-up comedy, movies at the four-screen cineplex, interactive game shows and quizzes, to name just a few, there’s never a dull moment on the Iona.
One of the world’s busiest ports and the Netherlands’ second city, Rotterdam fully embraces its reputation for innovation and forward-thinking. It’s a fascinating blend of industrial heritage, modern architecture and cultural dynamism, and a pleasant contrast to Amsterdam. There are still plenty of canals and pretty streets to explore, but the city also boasts a defiantly modern edge.
On arrival in Rotterdam, Limitless Travellers have a lot to explore and discover. The group often visits the Kijk Kubus Museum to see the city’s iconic Cube Houses. Though not accessible inside, the incredible architecture of these amazing buildings epitomises Rotterdam's passion for innovation. Close by, the fantastic Markthal (Market Hall) is a great place to grab some local food.
On your second day in Rotterdam, you’ll benefit from the fact that the ship docks in the heart of the city, allowing quick and easy access to its main attractions. Today, you can check out any attractions you missed on day one - St Lawrence Church is an excellent option. It was one of the only buildings to survive the bombing of the Second World War and is beautiful (and accessible) inside and out.
Alternatively, you could wander the streets of Delfshaven, arguably Rotterdam’s most picturesque neighbourhood. Stop off at one of the traditional Bruin cafés - the local Dutch pubs - for a refreshing beverage or enjoy a brilliant coffee from one of the city’s many local roasters. Of course, you can always choose to stay on the ship and make the most of its fantastic facilities, too.
Bruges is the archetypal medieval town and one of the best-preserved cities in Europe. At times, the remarkable architecture, picturesque canals and romantic streets can seem as though they are lifted from a fairy tale. We’ll dock in Zeebrugge, approximately 15 km from the city, and the Limitless Team will be on hand to assist everyone in boarding the accessible transport to Bruges.
Once in Bruges, you have the option to join a Limitless walking tour around the city. One of our included excursions, the tour is led by a local guide who will provide you with a wealth of fascinating information on Bruges’ history and most famous landmarks and attractions. You’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious chocolate-tasting experience and explore the city centre.
Following your final breakfast aboard the ship, the Limitless team will assist with check-out. The ship’s crew will take down your bags, and we’ll help you disembark, make sure you reach your pick-up, and say our farewells. Your transfer will then get you home, dropping you off at your front door.
We can’t wait to see you on your next Limitless holiday!
