Gijon is a large coastal city in northern Spain. The city is a bustling place with seafood restaurants, nightlife surrounding the curved bay. Take the time to potter around the port or enjoy the quieter on-board facilities while others explore.
Another day another brilliant port of call. La Coruña is one of Galicia's major cities and a significant centre for the textiles and fashion industries, and the home of international mega-brand Zara and an array of captivating shops and boutiques
Beyond its shopping allure, La Coruña is a lively beach town renowned for its vibrant atmosphere, outstanding food scene, and some of the finest seafood in northern Spain. The ship docks just a brief seven-minute walk from the central Maria Pita square, where charming cafes, bars, and restaurants await. Additionally, you can catch a glimpse of the city's iconic Hercules Lighthouse.
Today you'll continue your Spanish discovery with a visit to Vigo. One of Spain's bustling fishing hubs, it is situated on the rugged west coast of the Galicia province. Galicia's largest city is a dynamic modern metropolis, harmonising one of the world's busiest fishing ports with an atmospheric old quarter. It boasts numerous beautiful beaches at its doorstep and a vibrant nightlife scene featuring tapas bars, restaurants, and clubs.
The local seafood, considered among the best in Spain, benefits from the area's unique microclimate. Pulpo (octopus) holds the title of the local favourite, often enjoyed with glasses of Galician Albariño. For seafood enthusiasts, a visit to Ruá de Pescaderia (Fish Street) is a must, where Vigo's renowned women oyster sellers showcase their offerings.
After an action packed few days visiting some fantastic ports, today will give you the chance to relax, refresh and enjoy some more of the facilities on board the ship. Why not book yourself into the on board Spa. Here you can enjoy the Hydro facilities or partake in a massage.
