Itinerary
Day 1Travel to London
We’ll meet you at one of our designated UK pick-up points, help you board our accessible coach and ensure you’re comfortable for the journey. All our coaches benefit from hydraulic lift or ramp access, and wheelchairs can be safely secured in place, so there’s no need to transfer to a standard seat. Similarly, all our drivers have experience working with Limitless Travellers and understand and respect individual access needs.
On arrival, you’ll be served complimentary tea and coffee while the Limitless Team helps you check in. Then, you’ll have time to relax, unwind and explore your accessible room, before enjoying a delicious three-course meal in the hotel restaurant. Your Tour Manager will round out the evening with a little entertainment for those not quite ready to hit the hay.
Day 2Hampton Court
On your first full day, we’ll visit Hampton Court. Built for Cardinal Thomas Wolsey in 1514 but gifted to Henry VIII in a desperate attempt to curry favour with the short-tempered monarch, the palace quickly became the king’s favourite retreat and home to all six of his wives. Since then, a succession of monarchs, including William III and George II, have enjoyed its luxuries.
With its spectacular blend of Tudor, Baroque and Renaissance styles, the palace was the site of endless royal intrigue and events of momentous national importance. Touring the Great Hall and its many adjoining galleries with an experienced guide, you’ll enjoy a front row seat to stories that defined English history. Following the tour, we’ll head to the on-site Privy Kitchen Café for a traditional beef and ale pie.
Day 3Buckingham Palace
Buckingham Palace
Today, we’ll travel to the heart of the capital to tour one of the country’s most iconic landmarks. Currently home to HRH King Charles, the lavish Buckingham Palace was originally built for the Duke of Buckingham in 1703 and later expanded and transformed by the visionary architect John Nash. It has served as the home of British monarchs since 1837.
With more than 775 rooms and the largest private garden in London, there is plenty to explore. Fortunately, you’ll have a digital guide to help you get the most out of your visit and gain a deeper understanding of the building’s incredible history. The tour will take you through the Royal State Rooms, Throne Room, Picture Gallery, Ballroom and Royal Gardens, before we refuel with a spot of lunch in the palace cafe.
Day 4Windsor Castle
For your third and final excursion, we’ll make the 15-minute journey to Windsor Castle - the world’s largest and oldest occupied castle. Founded by William the Conqueror, the castle has served as a royal residence for over 900 years, with monarchs from Henry I to the current king all enjoying its expansive grounds, opulent state rooms and extensive art collection.
On your visit, you’ll have the chance to tour the castle and its magnificent interiors, view works from some of art’s most famous names, including Rubens, Michelangelo, van Dyck and Rembrandt, and catch the traditional changing of the guard ceremony in the morning. Offering a memorable insight into an architectural and design marvel, and its central role in English history.
Day 5Breakfast & Travel Home
Buckingham Palace
Today, your Royal Tour comes to an end. After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll board the accessible coach and depart for our various UK drop-off locations. Relax, reminisce with your fellow Limitless Travellers and take in the views. We’ll ensure you’re comfortable for the return journey and look forward to seeing you on your next Limitless holiday!
