This morning, either our accessible transfer will meet you at home (first 100 miles included) or in Southampton with free car-parking included. Once checked-in and settled into your accessible cabin, our care team will help you explore the ship.
A day at sea is a fantastic day of relaxation. Start with a leisurely breakfast in your cabin before joining the rest of the group for a coffee or tea in the atrium. Listen to live music, or take part in some of the ships many on-board entertainments including bingo. There is always something going on, on Arcadia!
The second sea-day as we cross the North Sea. Don't worry about the cold outside, for Arcadia has the Neptune pool with a glass-domed roof! There is a chair-hoist, which the Limitless Care team can help operate for our guests.
A small, friendly town with shops and markets, Andalsnes is also close to the famous Trollstigen road. This leads through pretty villages, past scenic fjords and majestic mountain peaks and across the stone bridge over the cascading Stigfossen waterfall to the Trollvegen (Troll Wall) which - at nearly 6,000 feet - is the highest vertical drop in northern Europe.
After Andalsnes, Arcadia will cruise through Romsdalsfjord, Norway. Deep blue fjords, rolling emerald hills, crashing waterfalls and jagged, snow-capped mountains that tower high above the water. All the while passing charming villages where Vikings once ruled.
The Palladium. This impressive three tier theatre, is located at the very forward end of the ship hosts a variety of west-end style shows, comedians and live music. The perfect way to spend an evening!
Tromso is our next port. You’re just 400km from the Arctic Circle in Tromsø, but there’s no need to get out your polar gear. Thanks to its position on the Gulf Stream, this lively city (said to have the greatest number of bars per capita in Norway) is relatively mild for its latitude. Such a fascinating town deserves time to explore, and so the ship will be docked here for 2-days!
The ship is scheduled to depart early morning, so make sure to be on deck to watch this spectacular port sail past.
In the outstandingly beautiful Norwegian Fjords, the town of Narvik is surrounded by a wonderland of gargantuan mountains, glistening waterways, untouched countryside and thriving arctic wildlife. With the ship not scheduled to depart until the tomorrow in the morning, you have the full day and evening to explore!
Narvik boasts especially clear skies so a visit here will offer a good chance to experience those mesmerising Northern Lights. Arcadia will set sail early morning, giving you a great opportunity to relax on deck, catch a film in the boutique 30-person cinema or stay out in deck with a hot-chocolate to watch for the Northern Lights!
Don't worry, you won't run out of things to do! The entertainment onboard the ship changes every day, with exciting new activities and shows to watch. Or simply relax in the piano bar with a cocktail or coffee.
Home of the Vikings! Surrounded by beautiful coastline, spectacular waterfalls and majestic fjords it's no wonder the kings called this extraordinary setting home. Populated for thousands of years, you can walk in the footsteps of the great kings at the Nordvegen History Centre and travel back over 3,500 years.
One last day of relaxation! After all that exploring and adventuring, enjoy a restful last day aboard. Check out the Retreat on Arcadia (surcharges may apply) which has an step-in hydro-therapy pool!
This morning we return to blightly! The Limitless Care team will assist you off the ship and to your transfer home.
