Your first stop is the charming city of Lisbon. Capital of Portugal and one of the most popular destinations in Europe, it’s a beautiful city that boasts some of the most picturesque streets, squares and sights on the continent. On arrival, we’ll cruise past the Belem Tower, the Cristo Rei and under the city’s impressive suspension bridge.

After a hearty breakfast, we head to the British territory of Gibraltar, famous for the spectacular Gibraltar Rock that rises high above all around. Enjoy the British pubs and shops for a taste of home. With the terminal being only 1km away from the towns popular square, there’s plenty to see and do into the early evening, making the most of the balmy weather!
Wake up in the 6th largest city of Spain, Malaga. The birthplace of Pablo Picasso, this city boasts fascinating history and a vibrant culture that fills the street. The perfect destination for a day of exploration, discovery, and plenty of tapas.
What other holiday could you wake up in a new destination each morning? Today, you'll draw your cabin curtains to discover the charming city of Cadiz. While our stay is short, the ship docks right into the front of the popular city centre. Enjoy breakfast in the sunshine or a gentle stroll around the port, discovering why Cadiz is loved by all who visit.
Having explored the cities, a day at sea is a great chance to rest and recuperate ahead of the adventures to come. The beauty of a cruise holiday is that it can be whatever you wish it to be. A day poolside with endless refreshments? Why not. Or something a little different, perhaps a visit to the florist? Or if you wanted to really enter cruise control, we recommend the spa!
Today, we make our way to A Coruña - a bustling hub for the textiles and fashion industries. Home to international mega-brand, Zara, it boasts an exciting array of shops and boutiques. A Coruña is also a vibrant and friendly beach town with a fantastic food scene and some of the best seafood in northern Spain.
After lunch, the cruise ship takes you around the oldest, but still active, Roman Lighthouse -the Tower of Hercules. The tower is visible for miles out to sea, however we'll be sailing much closer for the best view. Camera at the ready.
Today is our last full day at sea. It's the perfect chance to relax and reflect on a wonderful holiday, filled with so many unique experiences with new friends. Make the most of the ship and its excellent facilities, as we glide effortlessly towards home.
After a delicious breakfast, our team we’ll help you check-out with ease. Your bags will be taken down by the Fred Olsen crew and our care team will be on-hand to assist you. The Borealis boasts itself on being perfectly suited for taking guests further than other cruise lines, being smaller makes the ship more able to explore exciting ports and channels for more picturesque cruises.
