Your holiday begins! Whether you’ve made use of the complimentary parking or a Limitless transfer, our team will be there to help you check in your bags and board the ship. Those guests staying in an accessible cabin will also benefit from Priority Embarkation. We know check-in and boarding can be a nervous experience for some travellers, so Limitless assists with every aspect. You can learn about our check in and boarding support in greater detail in our FAQs.
Once aboard the cruise ship, you’ll have a chance to settle into your cabin, explore the ship, and meet your fellow Limitless travellers. The Limitless Care Team is always available to provide support and ensure your holiday gets off to the best possible start.
Your first day at sea is all about exploring the ship and settling in. Typically, the Limitless Team meets with everyone in the morning to catch up over breakfast, make sure you had a comfortable night, discuss the day ahead, and plan activities. We often lunch and dine as a group as well, so you’re never short of company.
During days at sea, there’s plenty to see and do on the Queen Anne. As a group, Limitless travellers often enjoy a relaxed morning, followed by a group lunch and some afternoon fun - be it a theatre show or a musical performance. Then it’s time to get dressed up for a delicious dinner, followed by some fantastic evening entertainment. Of course, how you spend your day is entirely up to you! But it’s good to know that the Limitless Team and your fellow travellers are always around too.
If you’re looking to cool off when the Queen Anne reaches warmer weather, Cunard has you covered. The ship is equipped with two traditional swimming pools, one of which is fitted with a hoist. The pools are located in the Panorama Pool Club, an outdoor area with a bar, loungers, and live music and DJs, and the Pavilion Venue, a spectacular venue with a retractable glass dome roof.
The Mareel Wellness and Beauty facilities are the perfect spot for a bit of pampering too. Featuring a cold room, a Himalayan salt sauna, and a thermal pool, it’s a fantastic place to unwind and relax. A variety of wellness treatments, including skincare, cupping and massages. If you’re looking to enjoy the onboard facilities, we recommend talking to your Tour Manager to ensure accessibility.
When it comes to entertainment, the Queen Anne has it all. From live music to theatre shows and cabaret, you’ll enjoy an ever-changing lineup of performers to thrill and captivate you. The Brights Light Society is an exciting collaboration with RWS Global and puts on a range of interactive shows, including interactive cinematic productions and variety performances. The Queens Room is renowned for its Cunard Signature Afternoon Tea and live music in the evening.
However, the two most prestigious venues aboard the Queen Anne are arguably the Royal Court Theatre and the Pavilion. While the former brings West End productions and fascinating Cunard Insights talks to the high seas, the latter features a retractable glass dome roof and shows alfresco movies in partnership with the BFI.
While São Miguel is the largest island in the Azores, Pont Delgada is its charming capital. A small, picturesque city with an abundance of alluring colonial architecture, a vibrant marina and an array of tantalising restaurants, it’s a fantastic introduction to the Azores.
The city centre is a pleasant 10-minute walk from the port. Limitless groups tend to explore Ponta Delgada’s verdant Botanical Gardens before wandering through the basalt and marble streets of the centre, checking out local shops and stopping for a bite to eat and refreshments along the way. Ponta Delgada can get particularly warm and humid, so we recommend making sure you wear something light and airy that also covers the skin.
It's the second day of your two-day stopover in Ponta Delgada, so it's time to explore all those parts of the city you didn't visit yesterday. Close to the port, there’s also the interesting Carlos Machado Museum, which features exhibits covering local art and history, or the Military Museum of the Azores based in the Forte de São Brás. Both are accessible and offer a fascinating insight into the island's culture and history.
Of course, you can also opt to stay on the ship and make the most of the onboard facilities. It may be a good opportunity to take a refreshing dip in the pool or catch up on some holiday reading. If you talk to your Tour Manager beforehand, they can help you plan the perfect day.
With 31 restaurants, bars and lounges, you’re spoiled for choice aboard the Queen Anne. Finished in a range of styles to ensure there’s something for every kind of taste, the ship’s lounges include the nautically-themed Chart Room, the refined Carinthia Lounge, and a traditional British Pub, among others.
When it comes to mealtimes, you have a world of choice on the Queen Anne. While Cunard’s famous White Star Service is available at the Britannia restaurant, you can also choose from an array of other options, including the Mediterranean-inspired Tramonto, the Japanese flavours of Aji Wa, and India’s diverse and delicious cuisine in Aranya. With so much to choose from, you’re in for a treat!
Few port stops benefit from such a beautiful on-water approach, so we highly recommend you find a good viewing spot as the ship pulls into the Madeiran port of Funchal. The birthplace of Christiano Ronaldo and a wonderfully tranquil and atmospheric city, Funchal is a pleasure to explore. While much of the city centre is accessible, the steep, narrow lanes leading up and out of the centre are more challenging.
Accessible buses take visitors from the port to the city in just 10 minutes. With plenty of shops, restaurants and street music to enjoy, as well as historic churches and traditional architecture, Funchal is a firm favourite among Limitless travellers. Don’t forget to pick up some famous Madeira wine!
On the Queen Anne, you don’t have to wait to reach dry land to enjoy a little shopping. The ship is equipped with a number of boutiques stocking some of the world’s leading brands. Several shops are located around the Grand Lobby, including the Garrard fine jewellery boutique and a dedicated Cunard Collection shop, while the Cabinet of Curiosities and Experience Lounge take things to the next level with a truly special retail experience too.
On top of Cunard’s exciting selection of retail shops, it also features a well-stocked library, so you can enjoy some holiday reading in your downtime. A fantastic art gallery also presents a host of works from up-and-coming and established artists and gives you the opportunity to return home with a truly special holiday memento.
One of Europe’s trendiest cities and a popular destination for foodies, sun-seekers, history fans and culture vultures alike, Lisbon offers visitors a little bit of everything. Iconic yellow trams rumble through postcard-perfect streets, locals linger over deliciously long alfresco lunches, and melancholic fado music seeps from darkened bars come evening time. Outrageously beautiful and packed full of fascinating sights, sounds and sensations, Lisbon is a one-of-a-kind port stop.
As part of the Limitless Lisbon experience, you can join an accessible 90-minute walking tour that takes you from the port to the country’s largest square, Praça do Comércio. After, you’ll enjoy a private wine-tasting experience and sample the local fish cakes and legendary pastéis de nata - Lisbon’s delightful custard tarts. Limitless travellers can then explore the local area, grabbing a little more food, shopping, or checking out one of Lisbon’s many historical sites. If you don’t fancy joining the Limitless excursion, Hop-On, Hop-Off buses tour the city, though only one wheelchair spot is available on each vehicle.
Vigo is home to Europe’s largest fishing fleet and is a thriving modern city with a riveting history. A warm and welcoming place that’s perched on the southernmost point of Galicia’s rugged Atlantic coast, it’s renowned for its world-famous seafood. Pulpo (octopus) is a local favourite, especially when washed down with a glass of Galician Albariño. A visit to Ruá de Pescaderia, where Vigo's iconic oyster sellers showcase their wares, is also a must.
As the ship docks right in the heart of the city, visitors are immediately surrounded by the lovely bars and cafes that line the marina. We highly recommend sampling the local cuisine and exploring the flatter city streets around the water. As Vigo is hillier as you move away from the marina, it can be difficult to navigate for Limitless travellers. However, the local shopping mall by the port has lifts and a walkway bridge that brings you out at the top of town. This enables you to explore a little further and ensures everything is downhill.
By now, you will have spent a few days exploring the Queen Anne and enjoying the facilities, activities and entertainment. But we guarantee there are still things you’re yet to see, do or find. Have you visited the onboard library? Tasted the tempura at the Japanese-inspired Aji Wa restaurant? Expanded your horizons at one of the Queen Anne’s award-winning Cunard Insights talks?
As we make our way back to Southampton, this is a great opportunity to check out those parts of the Queen Anne you’re yet to see or return to your favourite spots. Or just relax in total comfort and reminisce about the places you’ve seen over the course of your holiday. Have a chat with your Tour Manager in the morning and organise the perfect final day.
Following your final breakfast aboard the ship, the Limitless team will assist with check-out. The ship’s crew will take down your bags, and we’ll help you disembark, make sure you reach your pick-up, and say our farewells. Your transfer will then get you home, dropping you off at your front door.
We can’t wait to see you on your next Limitless holiday!

How does Limitless assist with check in and boarding?
Having met the Limitless Team at the port, we'll accompany you to the special assistance check-in. As it's separate from regular check-in, there are no crowds or lengthy queues.
You'll then be given a boarding time. Usually, we board as a group. However, if this isn't possible and you would like the assistance, we ensure a carer accompanies you onto the ship.
We board via the accessible gangway. This ramp connects the ship to the port. If you require support or assistance, both the Limitless Team and the ship's crew will be on hand to help. There are also manual wheelchairs available to make this transfer easier.
On some ships, the accessible gangway can be a little steep. In these instances, two crew members will provide support - one in front and one behind. You'll never be rushed and your safety and comfort are always the priorities.
Remember, you don't need to pre-book any special assistance at the port! We provide this assistance as standard with all Limitless cruises.
