Day 2 - At Sea

< >

Exploring the Arvia
Your first day at sea is all about exploring the ship and settling in. Typically, the Limitless Team meets with everyone in the morning to catch up over breakfast, make sure you had a comfortable night, discuss the day ahead, and plan activities. We often lunch and dine as a group as well, so you’re never short of company.

During days at sea, there’s plenty to see and do on the Arvia. As a group, Limitless Travellers often enjoy a relaxed morning, followed by a group lunch and some afternoon fun - be it a theatre show or a movie. Then it’s time to get dressed up for a delicious dinner, followed by some fantastic evening entertainment. Of course, how you spend your day is entirely up to you! But it’s good to know that the Limitless Team and your fellow travellers are always around too.

Arvia In La Coruna

Day 3 - A Coruña, Spain

< >

Port Visit
Situated on Spain’s north coast, A Coruña is a charming blend of old and new and an excellent stop for anyone interested in Galician culture and good food. The largely pedestrianised old town centres on Maria Pita Square and boasts an array of shops, bars, and restaurants, while the famous Torre de Hércules lighthouse stands proud a little way down the coast.

On arriving at A Coruña, Limitless Travellers typically enjoy a walking tour that doesn’t stray too far from the ship but enables visitors to get a feel for the city and see several attractions, including the Tomb of Sir John Moore - a touching monument to the British General who laid down his life leading a rearguard action that enabled thousands of British soldiers to escape French Forces in the early 1800s and about whom the famous Charles Wolfe poem was written.

The ship’s 710 Club, Limelight Club, and Brodie’s British Pub all host musicians. Of course, much of the action focuses on the Arvia’s remarkable SkyDome, where the poolside entertainment runs from dawn till dusk and then into the night.

Pools & Spa
When the weather starts to warm up and you feel like cooling off, nothing is more refreshing than a dip in the pool. Fortunately, the Arvia features four swimming pools - the SkyDome Pool, Infinity Pool, Panorama Pool and Beachcomber Pool. Portable hoist equipment is available onboard the Arvia but needs to be booked in advance. As such, we recommend talking to your Tour Manager to arrange this.

As well as swimming pools, the ship hosts the Oasis Spa & Health Club, where you can enjoy a range of treatments. If you’re looking to freshen up for a smart evening meal, The Salon also offers beauty and grooming services for both men and women.

Day 6 - Palma de Mallorca

Mallorca’s thriving capital is the jewel in the island’s crown - a vibrant, enchanting city that captures the imagination with its gorgeous honey-stoned walls and bustling streets. Combining Roman, Moorish, and Catalan history and influences, it’s now home to an endless array of fabulous restaurants, bars, galleries and boutiques.

As the ship docks a short distance from the centre, Limitless Travellers will catch an accessible shuttle into the city. The breathtaking Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma is a Gothic masterpiece and features work from the iconic Catalan architect, Gaudí, while the Modern Art Museum is also world-famous. Both are accessible. If you just want to soak up the Baelearic atmosphere and stroll the streets, the central plaza or beautiful marina are excellent options.

The same is true for bars and lounges. The classic Crow’s Nest offers breathtaking ocean views, while the 710 Club boasts sophisticated, vintage-inspired style. With its traditional terracotta buildings precariously perched overlooking the bay you will have a chance to meander around its winding streets and enjoy some traditional Italian Cuisine in one of its many bars and restaurants. Less commercial than its nearby neighbours or Pisa or Florence, La Spezia gives an honest look at traditional Italian day to day life.

Once you have tucked into your fill of Italian Pizza and Gelato There's the 13th century Our Lady of Assumption church, housing a surprising collection of art, and the civic museum in the Castle of San Giorgio is just one of seven museums in the town.

With a spectacular natural harbour, a historic old town, and a lively quayside packed with bars, cafes and restaurants, the city is a delight to explore and one of southern France’s hidden gems.

The impressive Francois de Paule Church is accessible and free to enter, while the city market offers an opportunity to pick up some local produce and do a little shopping. For those who simply want to sit back and soak up the sun with a glass of rosé - the region’s speciality - the waterside is the perfect place to do so.

On arriving in Cádiz, we recommend heading to the Plaza de San Juan de Dios, one of the city’s main squares and the perfect place to get to grips with its complex history. An 18th-century masterpiece that mixes architectural styles, Cádiz’s cathedral is accessible via a wheelchair ramp and is certainly worth a visit. How does Limitless assist with check in and boarding?

Having met the Limitless Team at the port, we'll accompany you to the special assistance check-in. As it's separate from regular check-in, there are no crowds or lengthy queues.

You'll then be given a boarding time. Usually, we board as a group. However, if this isn't possible and you would like the assistance, we ensure a carer accompanies you onto the ship.

We board via the accessible gangway. This ramp connects the ship to the port. If you require support or assistance, both the Limitless Team and the ship's crew will be on hand to help. There are also manual wheelchairs available to make this transfer easier.

On some ships, the accessible gangway can be a little steep. In these instances, two crew members will provide support - one in front and one behind. You'll never be rushed and your safety and comfort are always the priorities.

Remember, you don't need to pre-book any special assistance at the port! We provide this assistance as standard with all Limitless cruises.

What is Limitless Group Support & Holiday Assistance?

Group Support & Holiday Assistance is included as standard with all Limitless holidays. It's what sets us apart from every other UK holiday provider!

What are anchor ports and is Limitless responsible for port changes?

At Limitless Travel, we carefully select cruise itineraries with minimal anchor ports. Anchor ports are those destinations where port logistics mean a small boat or ‘tender’ transport is required to ferry guests to shore. In the vast majority of cases, these tenders are not accessible and some Limitless Travellers will not be able to leave the ship.

Unfortunately, port changes can happen due to any number of reasons while at sea. Limitless Travel cannot be held accountable for any such port changes.
