After this we will take you for some fish and chips. We can't visit the seaside without them! You’ll also get the chance to journey on a steam train in Swanage, enjoy a barrier-free experience at the coast, and indulge in inclusive travel across the rolling hills of Dorset. Enjoy a week of sightseeing, accessible fun, and adapted accommodation that provides all the necessary facilities.

After some time to potter around the quaint coastal town of Swanage we will go for dinner at a historical hotel, where Winston Churchill once stayed.

Day 1: Travel and Settle In

After boarding the coach at one of our UK meeting points, we’ll make our way to the south coast and sunny Bournemouth. Travellers in wheelchairs can choose to remain in their chair, which will be safely secured into place throughout the journey, or transfer to a standard seat. On arrival at the hotel, you’ll be able to refresh with a complimentary cup of tea and coffee, then the Limitless Team will help you check-in and get your bags to your room. There will be a little time to settle in and make yourself comfortable before your delicious three-course dinner is served!

Day 2: Discover Bournemouth Oceanarium

For your first full day on holiday, we’ll explore Bournemouth and enjoy its spectacular seafront. The town’s beach has been voted the best in the UK several times and regularly appears in the top 10 for all of Europe - so you’re in for a treat! We’ll start the day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel, then head over to the Oceanarium located on the seafront, where you can see extraordinary marine life, including turtles. There are also feeding sessions and an underwater tunnel for an immersive experience.

Afterwards, you’ll have plenty of time to explore Bournemouth’s award-winning beaches, bustling town centre and lovely public gardens.In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to explore the seafront, pier, arcades and gardens at your own pace. As always, the Limitless Team will be on-hand should you require any assistance.

Day 3: Accessible Boat Trip in Weymouth

Today we will head south along the Jurassic Coast to the delightful town of Weymouth. You can't help but fall in love with the many charming scenes this seaside resort offers, from it's white sand beach, quaint red-brick streets, and the bustling hub of the harbour which sees a serene trickle of boats sailing by and boasts an impressive lifting bridge that was first built in 1821!

How better to explore the best Weymouth than from the water? That's right, today we'll be boarding an accessible boat for a memorable glide along the coastline. Back on dry land it's time to enjoy some of best fish and chips in the UK. You'll then have time to explore the harbour and it's many souvenir shops and sun-soaked cafe's. Oh we do like to be beside the seaside.

Day 4: Dorset Coastal Steam Train Ride

Day three of your Bournemouth Coastal Delights tour takes us to Swanage, another beautiful seaside town on the Dorset coastline. There will be chance to explore this quaint town and pick up some souvenirs. After lunch we will enjoy an accessible steam train ride through the stunning isle of Purbeck. Camera at the ready!

For dinner we will go to a historical hotel, where Winston Churchill once stayed, and formulated some of his world famous speeches given during his time as Prime Minister.

Day 5: Until Next Time

Today, your accessible Bournemouth Coastal Delights Tour comes to an end. After a hearty breakfast, our accessible coach will depart the hotel for our various UK drop-off locations. Relax, take in the views of Dorset through the window and enjoy a little commentary from your Tour Manager. Now, all that’s left to do is say farewell to new friends and plan your next Limitless adventure!

All of our vehicles are 100% wheelchair accessible for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. They are fitted with either a ramp or a hydraulic lift and wheelchairs can be clamped into place, so there’s no need to transfer out of your wheelchair if that’s where you’re more comfortable. Travellers who do not use a wheelchair are also welcome to use the ramp or lift to access the coach.
