Your cruise begins! Whether you’ve made use of the complimentary parking or an accessible Limitless transfer, our team will meet you at the cruise terminal to help you board. We’ll unload your luggage, help you check in and support you through the terminal, ensuring everything is taken care of from the moment you arrive. By the time you reach your accessible cabin, your luggage will be on its way to you and you’ll be introduced to your cabin steward. The Limitless Team can help you unpack, settle in and make a cup of tea, so you're ready to enjoy the Queen Elizabeth's departure from Southampton.

Once you have settled in, we’ll help you begin exploring the ship and introduce you to your fellow travellers. Many of our guests find being a part of this tight-knit, supportive group one of the highlights of the holiday, and head home having made lifelong friends who return to cruise together year after year. In the evening, we’ll come together for our first group dinner and enjoy the opening night aboard Queen Elizabeth.

Your first day at sea gives you time to settle into life aboard Queen Elizabeth and begin discovering everything the ship has to offer.

The Limitless Team will organise opportunities for the group to spend time together throughout the day. You might share breakfast overlooking the ocean, meet for coffee, team up for the quiz, or enjoy the onboard entertainment together.

How involved you want to be is entirely up to you. You can spend the whole day with the group, dip in and out of activities, join everyone for breakfast or dinner, or enjoy Queen Elizabeth completely independently. Whatever you choose, the Limitless Team will be nearby whenever you need assistance, company or help making arrangements. Your Tour Manager can also help you understand the daily programme, make dining arrangements and find your way around the ship.

Queen Elizabeth is one of smallest and most intimate ships in the Cunard fleet, and is renowned for its traditional Art Deco interiors. Travelling as part of a friendly group makes the holiday feel reassuringly personal, and is a fantastic way to experience all the elegance of Cunard cruising.

With the Queen Elizabeth carrying you towards your next destination, today is a fantastic opportunity to explore the ship's fantastic entertainment.

The Queen Elizabeth’s exquisite venues hark back to the golden age of cruising. The 800-seat Royal Theatre is finished in majestic blue and hosts unforgettable West End shows, hair-raising musical talents, and fascinating guest speakers. The ever-popular Queen’s Room features a glamorous ballroom space and surrounding seating, from which you can enjoy nightly live music and dances.

The Commodore Club’s panoramic ocean views and intimate atmosphere make for the ideal environment in which to enjoy live piano, while the Golden Lion offers a more relaxed, pub-themed space where you can dance the night away to great singers and bands. Of course, you’ll also find live performers in the Grand Lobby, setting the mood for the night ahead.

Your Tour Manager is there to help you explore the daily programme, make bookings and organise opportunities for the group to enjoy shows and events together. You can join as much or as little as you like, with the freedom to spend the day entirely at your own pace.

With another full day at sea, you’ll have plenty of time to relax and experience more of Queen Elizabeth’s facilities.

On one of our sea days, we’ll organise an opportunity for the group to enjoy one of the ship’s swimming pools together. Queen Elizabeth’s pools include the larger Pavilion Pool and the more relaxed Lido. Hoists are available at both pools, and the Limitless Team can help you use them. Our Personalised Holiday Support team can also provide practical swimming assistance, helping travellers enjoy time in the water with confidence.

For further relaxation, Queen Elizabeth’s Mareel Wellness & Beauty facilities offer spa treatments and thermal experiences at an additional cost. Your Tour Manager can help you understand the facilities’ accessibility and make any arrangements.

Explore Tenerife with the Limitless Group

Welcome to Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands and home to the spectacular Mount Teide volcano and its dramatic lunar landscapes. We’ll dock in Santa Cruz, the island’s capital, where palm-lined streets, attractive architecture and warm year-round weather make it one of our guests’ favourite destinations.

Your Tour Manager will lead an optional accessible experience through the city’s relaxed plazas and historic landmarks. The route passes the Museum of Nature and Archaeology, where travellers can discover more about the island’s geological origins, natural history and indigenous Guanche inhabitants.

Alternatively, you can explore independently and visit the botanical gardens or spend time at Playa de las Teresitas, an accessible beach with golden sands and calm waters.

Often described as one of the Canary Islands’ best-kept secrets, Santa Cruz de La Palma is a colourful coastal town backed by beautiful green hills. The historic centre is close to the port and filled with traditional Canarian architecture, palm-lined plazas and flower-covered balconies. You can explore the shops, stop for lunch or follow the promenade along the waterfront.

Many Limitless Travellers also choose to visit the nearby beach, passing a replica of Christopher Columbus’s ship, the Santa María, along the way. You’re welcome to explore independently or spend time with your fellow travellers, with the Limitless Team available to help you plan a day that suits you.

Today we arrive in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria’s lively capital, known for its welcoming plazas, palm-lined streets and attractive Atlantic coastline. We dock at the Santa Catalina cruise terminal, providing convenient access to the surrounding cafés, bars and Muelle shopping centre.

The group will also have the opportunity to discover Vegueta, the city’s historic quarter, where highlights include the impressive Catedral de Santa Ana and inviting squares where you can stop for something to eat. Alternatively, you could head to Playa de las Canteras, an accessible city beach with disabled toilets and beach wheelchairs, subject to local availability.

You can explore with your fellow travellers or enjoy the destination independently, and the Limitless Team will support you in arranging your day.

Day 8 Arrecife, Lanzarote

Lanzarote’s otherworldly volcanic landscapes have enchanted visitors for centuries. Famed for its dramatic rock formations, black-sand beaches and palm-lined promenades, the island is also home to Arrecife, a relaxed capital with a welcoming atmosphere.

On leaving the ship, your Tour Manager will lead an optional accessible experience through the city centre. You’ll explore the waterfront promenade, pass El Charco de San Ginés, Arrecife’s picturesque lagoon and fishing harbour, and see the city’s main church, Iglesia de San Ginés.

Along the way, you will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy local tapas, admire the island’s distinctive architecture and browse the shops.

During the voyage, Cunard will host one of its famous Gala Evenings - a chance to dress for the occasion and experience Queen Elizabeth at her most spectacular.

Today, you can spend the day relaxing in preparation for the special evening ahead. Why not visit the spa, enjoy a quiet drink in the Garden Lounge or settle somewhere comfortable and soak up the sensational ocean vistas? The Limitless Team can support you when it’s time to get ready, if this forms part of your agreed care arrangements.

In the evening, we’ll come together as a group for an elegant dinner, then enjoy the spectacular ship-wide Gala Evening atmosphere. From the Britannia Restaurant and Grand Lobby to The Queens Room, the Queen Elizabeth will be filled with live music, beautifully dressed guests and a wonderful sense of occasion.

While dressing up is encouraged, more casual venues remain available if you would prefer a relaxed evening. Cunard will confirm the exact date and theme of the Gala Evening closer to departure.

With its iconic yellow trams, colourful streets, historic squares and bustling cafés, Lisbon is one of Europe’s most atmospheric cities.

Today’s Limitless-exclusive excursion follows an accessible route from the port towards Praça do Comércio, Portugal’s magnificent waterfront square. Along the way, you’ll experience Lisbon’s history, architecture and distinctive character alongside your Tour Manager and fellow Limitless Travellers.

The experience also includes a private wine tasting accompanied by local fish cakes and Lisbon’s legendary pastéis de nata. Afterwards, you will have time to enjoy more of the surrounding area. You might browse the shops, stop for lunch, explore a nearby historical attraction or relax with a coffee and watch the world go by.

Lisbon’s hills and traditional pavements can make some areas challenging to navigate, but the Limitless Team will accompany the group and provide support throughout the experience.

Today is a chance to discover more of the exceptional dining available aboard Queen Elizabeth.

Experience Cunard’s famous White Star Service in the impressive Britannia Restaurant or head to one of the ship’s speciality restaurants for something a little different. Options include the finest cuts at Steakhouse at The Verandah, pub classics at the Golden Lion, and leisurely lunches at the laid-back Lido restaurant.

Alternatively, you can linger over a delightful gin-based cocktail in the Midships Bar, listen to the piano in the Commodore Club or relax with coffee in the elegant Café Carinthia.

During one of our sea days, we’ll also bring the group together for an included meal at one of Queen Elizabeth’s speciality restaurants. It’s an opportunity to enjoy a memorable dining experience and share a special evening with your fellow Limitless Travellers.

Enjoy a traditional Afternoon Tea in the glamorous Queens Room, find a book in the beautiful two-storey library or attend one of Cunard’s fascinating Insights talks. You could also watch a production in the Royal Court Theatre, listen to live music or relax in the Commodore Club with views across the ocean.

The Limitless Team will organise opportunities for the group to spend time together, while your Tour Manager can help with activities and arrangements.

Alternatively, enjoy a quiet day entirely at your own pace and reflect on the destinations you have visited. In the evening, we’ll come together for our final group dinner and celebrate our last night aboard Queen Elizabeth.

After breakfast, the Limitless Team will help with your luggage and support you throughout disembarkation. Your accessible transfer provider will be waiting at the cruise terminal to take you home comfortably and drop you at your front door.

Our accessible taxi transfers guarantee a stress-free start to your holiday. A door-to-door service, it ensures getting to and from the cruise terminal is easier than ever by using ramp-accessible vehicles with plenty of room for luggage and mobility equipment.

For journeys of 125 miles or less, this service is included in the price of your holiday. Additional fees may apply for longer transfers or those travelling from Yorkshire, North East England, or Wales.

FAQs

What’s included in a Cunard accessible cabin?

Accessible cabins are available on request. However, they are limited and places sell out quickly. Accessible Outside, Balcony & Mini-Suite Cabins may also be available, though prices will vary. Every accessible cabin features:

  • Wide access doors

  • Space for mobility scooters to be stored

  • Showers with wide door access, pull-down chairs and grip handles

  • Air conditioning

  • Satellite TV with movie and music channels

  • Tea and coffee-making facilities

An equipment hire service is available and includes powered wheelchairs and hoists.

How does Limitless assist with check in and boarding?

Having met the Limitless Team at the port, we'll accompany you to the special assistance check-in. As it's separate from regular check-in, there are no crowds or lengthy queues.

You'll then be given a boarding time. Usually, we board as a group. However, if this isn't possible and you would like the assistance, we ensure a carer accompanies you onto the ship.

We board via the accessible gangway. This ramp connects the ship to the port. If you require support or assistance, both the Limitless Team and the ship's crew will be on hand to help. There are also manual wheelchairs available to make this transfer easier.

On some ships, the accessible gangway can be a little steep. In these instances, two crew members will provide support - one in front and one behind. You'll never be rushed and your safety and comfort are always the priorities.

Remember, you don't need to pre-book any special assistance at the port! We provide this assistance as standard with all Limitless cruises.

What is Limitless Group Support & Holiday Assistance?

What are anchor ports and is Limitless responsible for port changes?

At Limitless Travel, we carefully select cruise itineraries with minimal anchor ports. Anchor ports are those destinations where port logistics mean a small boat or ‘tender’ transport is required to ferry guests to shore. In the vast majority of cases, these tenders are not accessible and some Limitless Travellers will not be able to leave the ship.

Unfortunately, port changes can happen due to any number of reasons while at sea. Limitless Travel cannot be held accountable for any such port changes.
