Setting sail from Southampton, you'll journey north aboard P&O's state-of-the-art Aurora cruise ship, taking full advantage of the onboard facilities along the way.
Your first port is Andalsnes, Norway, a destination favored by cruisers for over 120 years due to its stunning Alpine location. Nestled where the towering Romsdal Alps meet the northern end of the sparkling Romsdalfjord, Andalsnes offers breathtaking vistas. Following Andalsnes, the cruise continues to Bodø for a full day of exploration. This vibrant Norwegian city boasts spellbinding architecture, chic cafés, and contemporary shops, providing a delightful overnight stay.
The journey proceeds to Narvik, surrounded by a wonderland of towering mountains, glistening waterways, untouched countryside, and thriving arctic wildlife. After departing Narvik, the ship spends a couple of days in Tromsø, situated just 400km from the Arctic Circle, with a relatively pleasant climate. The cruise concludes in Haugesund, the homeland of Viking kings and the birthplace of Norway, where you can absorb the Viking spirit before returning to the UK and disembarking in Southampton.
Throughout your voyage, the Limitless Team will be by your side, offering care, support, and assistance as needed. On the ship, your cabin can be fully accessible if required, along with the majority of Aurora's other facilities. With a variety of restaurants and bars, swimming pools, entertainment venues, a steam room, sauna, a large cinema, and a casino, there's a wealth of amenities to enjoy at sea.

Your adventure begins! Enjoy home pick up from your front door, or make your own way to Southampton Cruise Terminal where there is free parking. Our team will then help you get checked in and onto P&O's world-class Aurora cruise ship. With priority boarding you'll be exploring the ship before you know it!

A day at sea is a fantastic day of relaxation. Start with a leisurely breakfast in your cabin before joining the rest of the group for a coffee or tea in the atrium. Listen to live music, or take part in some of the ships many on-board entertainments including bingo. There is always something going on, on Aurora.

The second sea-day as we cross the North Sea. Don't worry about the cold outside, for Aurora has the Neptune pool with a retractable roof! There is a chair-hoist, which the Limitless Care team can help operate for our guests. This sometimes needs to be pre booked so please reach out to the staff who can help organise this for you.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before disembarking with the Limitless team at Andalsnes, a charming Alpine town at the stunning Romsdalfjord's convergence. Explore the picturesque Trollstigen road, winding through villages, fjords, and past the majestic Troll Wall. Sail through Norway's breathtaking fjords, experiencing their natural wonders, including the ice-free Romsdalsfjord, with its deep valleys, waterfalls, and Viking history.
Today maybe wake to have a continental breakfast served to your room. In the evening then why not head to The Curzon Theatre. This impressive three tier theatre, is located at the very forward end of the ship hosts a variety of west-end style shows, comedians and live music. The perfect way to spend an evening!

Bodø, a lively Norwegian city, stands as a centre of captivating architecture, chic cafés, and modern shops, all beckoning exploration. Whether you're gazing down from the heights of the Nyholm Fortress or strolling along the cobbled streets adorned with vibrant street art, Bodø exudes beauty from every perspective. With an abundance of sights and activities in this intriguing locale, you have the freedom to explore at your own leisure and discover the wonders of this unique corner of the world. The ship will spend the night in port here before setting sail early morning for your next exciting destination.
Nestled in the exceptionally picturesque Norwegian Fjords, the town of Narvik is enveloped by a landscape of colossal mountains, gleaming waterways, pristine countryside, and thriving arctic wildlife. Arriving early afternoon why not ascend Fagernesfjellet mountain via cable car to an elevation of 670 meters, where stunning views of the region unfold. If conditions and your schedule align, consider a nighttime ascent to witness the awe-inspiring Northern Lights from the same elevated vantage point. (This is wheelchair accessible but will be an additional charge.)
Indoors, Narvik offers impressive sights as well. The Museum Nord occupies a handsome brick building erected in 1902, providing insights into the town's brief yet intriguing history. Additionally, the new War Museum narrates Narvik's pivotal role in WWII through interactive exhibits, offering a compelling exploration of the town's wartime significance.
As dawn breaks in port today, prepare for departure in the early afternoon as the ship sets course for your next destination: Tromsø!
Tromso is our next port. You’re just 400km from the Arctic Circle in Tromsø, but there’s no need to get out your polar gear. Thanks to its position on the Gulf Stream, this lively city (said to have the greatest number of bars per capita in Norway) is relatively mild for its latitude. Such a fascinating town deserves time to explore, and so the ship will be docked here for 2-days!
Today you can enjoy some more time in Tromso before the ship continues around the Fjords. If you're fascinated by the world of snow and ice, the city's Polaria Science Museum is the place to find out all about it. Within its iceberg-shaped walls, you can meet the local wildlife at a vast aquarium, experience an Arctic snowstorm or take a virtual trek through the frozen wilderness to encounter polar bears and see the mystical Northern Lights.
Saying goodbye to Tromso today the ship will leave port early afternoon as you head through the Fjords to enjoy your next destination.
Don't worry, you won't run out of things to do! The entertainment onboard the ship changes every day, with exciting new activities and shows to watch, keep an eye out for the ships Horizon newspaper which will show the daily schedules. Or simply relax in the piano bar with a cocktail or coffee.
Today marks your last port visit before heading back home. Haugesund, the ancestral home of Viking kings and the birthplace of Norway, beckons you to immerse yourself in the essence of Viking spirit. Enveloped by a stunning coastline, dramatic waterfalls, and majestic fjords, it's no wonder that this extraordinary setting was chosen by kings as their home. With a history spanning thousands of years, you can trace the footsteps of these great kings at the Nordvegen History Centre, transporting yourself back over 3,500 years.
St. Olav's Church, dating back to 1250 AD, stands as a monument to bygone days of glory. Adjacent to the church is one of Norway's tallest pillars, Virgin Mary's Sewing Needle. A visit to nearby Rehaugene allows you to explore the 'Pyramids of the North'—six intriguing Bronze Age earthen burial mounds. For those inclined towards retail therapy, Haugesund offers a double delight—charming markets and Norway's longest pedestrian street await your exploration.
One last day of relaxation! After all that exploring and adventuring, enjoy a restful last day aboard. Check out the Retreat on Aurora (surcharges may apply) which has an step-in hydro-therapy pool! After your last breakfast, we’ll help you check-out. Your bags will be taken down by the Aurora's crew and our care team will be on-hand to assist you. From here you will join the transfers back to the pick-up points, relaxed, rejuvenated and ready for your next Limitless adventure. We can’t wait to see you again!

PLEASE NOTE THAT P&O Ferries and P&O Cruises have been separate entities for several decades, and despite sharing a name, are not run by the same management or shareholders.
The Aurora is a world-class ship and a favourite among experienced cruisers. It boasts all the facilities you've come to expect of a P&O vessel but also benefits from a slightly more intimate feel. From the spectacular, glass-roofed SkyDome to the expansive cinema screen, you're sure to be blown away.
Full board: all meals are included in the price of your cruise holiday for complete ease and mouth-watering luxury at sea. There’s also an option to add a ‘drinks package’, which can be done either before or during your cruise.
Included within your cruise holiday package with Limitless is a transfer from home (first 100-miles included, thereafter charged at £2.50 a mile) to the cruise ship's port. Before booking we will always make sure you have the right transfer in place to take you to the port safely and comfortably.
*Please be aware that the door to door transfer is an accessible minibus, not a private taxi, therefore we do advise guests to bring a support pillow for extra comfort if required.
