Whether you're seeking a glimpse of the Northern Lights or aiming to immerse yourself in Norwegian culture, our all-inclusive 14-night cruise, thoughtfully designed for disabled individuals, offers the perfect opportunity to explore some of the most beautiful spots in the Fjords. Setting sail from Southampton, you'll journey north aboard P&O's state-of-the-art Aurora cruise ship, taking full advantage of the onboard facilities along the way.

Your first port is Andalsnes, Norway, a destination favored by cruisers for over 120 years due to its stunning Alpine location. Nestled where the towering Romsdal Alps meet the northern end of the sparkling Romsdalfjord, Andalsnes offers breathtaking vistas. Following Andalsnes, the cruise continues to Bodø for a full day of exploration. This vibrant Norwegian city boasts spellbinding architecture, chic cafés, and contemporary shops, providing a delightful overnight stay.

The journey proceeds to Narvik, surrounded by a wonderland of towering mountains, glistening waterways, untouched countryside, and thriving arctic wildlife. After departing Narvik, the ship spends a couple of days in Tromsø, situated just 400km from the Arctic Circle, with a relatively pleasant climate. The cruise concludes in Haugesund, the homeland of Viking kings and the birthplace of Norway, where you can absorb the Viking spirit before returning to the UK and disembarking in Southampton.

Throughout your voyage, the Limitless Team will be by your side, offering care, support, and assistance as needed. On the ship, your cabin can be fully accessible if required, along with the majority of Aurora's other facilities. With a variety of restaurants and bars, swimming pools, entertainment venues, a steam room, sauna, a large cinema, and a casino, there's a wealth of amenities to enjoy at sea.

As with most cruises your holiday will start at sea.

A day at sea is a fantastic day of relaxation. Start with a leisurely breakfast in your cabin before joining the rest of the group for a coffee or tea in the atrium. Listen to live music, or take part in some of the ships many on-board entertainments including bingo. There is always something going on, on Aurora.

The second sea-day as we cross the North Sea. Don't worry about the cold outside, for Aurora has the Neptune pool with a retractable roof! There is a chair-hoist, which the Limitless Care team can help operate for our guests. This sometimes needs to be pre booked so please reach out to the staff who can help organise this for you.

Nestled in the exceptionally picturesque Norwegian Fjords, the town of Narvik is enveloped by a landscape of colossal mountains, gleaming waterways, pristine countryside, and thriving arctic wildlife. Arriving early afternoon why not ascend Fagernesfjellet mountain via cable car to an elevation of 670 meters, where stunning views of the region unfold. If conditions and your schedule align, consider a nighttime ascent to witness the awe-inspiring Northern Lights from the same elevated vantage point. (This is wheelchair accessible but will be an additional charge.)

Indoors, Narvik offers impressive sights as well. The Museum Nord occupies a handsome brick building erected in 1902, providing insights into the town's brief yet intriguing history. Additionally, the new War Museum narrates Narvik's pivotal role in WWII through interactive exhibits, offering a compelling exploration of the town's wartime significance.

Thanks to its position on the Gulf Stream, this lively city (said to have the greatest number of bars per capita in Norway) is relatively mild for its latitude. Such a fascinating town deserves time to explore, and so the ship will be docked here for 2-days!

With a history spanning thousands of years, you can trace the footsteps of these great kings at the Nordvegen History Centre, transporting yourself back over 3,500 years.

St. Olav's Church, dating back to 1250 AD, stands as a monument to bygone days of glory. Adjacent to the church is one of Norway's tallest pillars, Virgin Mary's Sewing Needle. A visit to nearby Rehaugene allows you to explore the 'Pyramids of the North'—six intriguing Bronze Age earthen burial mounds. The Aurora is a world-class ship and a favourite among experienced cruisers. It boasts all the facilities you've come to expect of a P&O vessel but also benefits from a slightly more intimate feel. Going from home to holiday has never been easier. We'll pick you in an accessible minibus, transferring you directly to the port where our team will be waiting to assist with check in.

This door to door transfer service is included free of charge each way for journeys within 125 miles of the port. For any journeys greater than 125 miles a charge of £3.25 per mile will apply (up to a maximum distance of 250 miles).

Please note, if you live in the following regions: Yorkshire, North East England, Wales, then an additional charge of £200 may be applied to your booking. This is due to our drivers needing to travel the night before to ensure pick up can be completed at the scheduled time on departure day.
