Whether you’re looking for a sun-soaked getaway or you want to learn a little more about Spain, our disabled friendly cruise is the perfect opportunity to experience some of Spain's holiday hotspots. Departing from Southampton, you’ll travel south aboard P&O’s world-class Ventura cruise ship, enjoying all of the onboard facilities as you go.

Your first stop is La Coruña is a vibrant and exciting beach town with a fantastic food scene. During your cruise you visit Gijon then Santander, the capital city of the Cantabria region on Spain’s north coast before you visit your final port of La Rochelle, France.

Throughout your trip, you’ll be accompanied by the Limitless Team, who will provide care, support and assistance as and when you require it.

On the ship, your cabin is fully accessible, as are the vast majority of the Ventura's other facilities. With several restaurants, swimming pools, entertainment venues, a steam room and sauna and a large cinema, there’s plenty to enjoy when you spend the day at sea.

Today, we make our first stop in A Coruña - one of Galicia’s biggest cities and a major hub for the textiles and fashion industries. Home to international mega-brand, Zara, it boasts an exciting array of shops and boutiques.

It’s not all about the shopping, though. La Coruña is a vibrant and exciting beach town with a fantastic food scene and some of the best seafood in northern Spain. Your ship docks just a seven-minute walk from the central Maria Pita square, where you’ll find a number of delightful cafes, bars and restaurants and also be able to catch a glimpse of the city’s famous Hercules Lighthouse.

The cruise-port is a 10minute walk from the historic city centre, this is a fantastic first port to visit. Santander is the capital city of the Cantabria region on Spain’s north coast. The Palacio de la Magdalena, once the royal summer residence, lies at the mouth of the Bay of Santander on the rocky La Magdalena Peninsula.

Our last port to visit is La Rochelle, a coastal city in Southwest France. The historic port town is home to the famous Towers of La Rochelle, including the Tour de la Lanterne, the oldest lighthouse on the Atlantic Coast which was once a navy prison. La Rochelle is sure to be the most picture perfect port for the day.

P&O Ventura was launched in 2008 and refurbished in 2013 - providing the very best in luxurious cruising. The contemporary feel of the ship continues throughout its cabins, where burgundy and cream décor is accented by dark wood fixtures and finishing touches by British designer Nick Munro.

Full board: all meals are included in the price of your cruise holiday for complete ease and mouth-watering luxury at sea. There’s also an option to add a ‘drinks package’, which can be done either before or during your cruise.

Going from home to holiday has never been easier. We'll pick you in an accessible minibus, transferring you directly to the port where our team will be waiting to assist with check in.

This door to door transfer service is included free of charge each way for journeys within 125 miles of the port. For any journeys greater than 125 miles a charge of £3.25 per mile will apply (up to a maximum distance of 250 miles).

Please note, if you live in the following regions: Yorkshire, North East England, Wales, then an additional charge of £200 may be applied to your booking. This is due to our drivers needing to travel the night before to ensure pick up can be completed at the scheduled time on departure day.
