Day 1 Travel to Blackpool

We’ll meet you at one of our designated UK pick-up points, help you board our accessible coach and ensure you’re comfortable for the journey. All our coaches benefit from hydraulic lift or ramp access, and wheelchairs can be safely secured in place, so there’s no need to transfer to a standard seat. Similarly, all our drivers have experience working with Limitless Travellers and understand and respect individual access needs.

On arrival, you’ll be served complimentary tea and coffee while the Limitless Team helps you check in. Then, you’ll have time to relax, unwind and explore your accessible room, before enjoying a delicious three-course meal in the hotel restaurant. Your Tour Manager will round out the evening with a little entertainment for those not quite ready to hit the hay.

Day 2 Blackpool Tower & Ballroom

What better place to begin your accessible holiday than the iconic Blackpool Tower? Inspired by Eiffel’s efforts in Paris, it was the tallest manmade structure in the British Empire on completion in 1894. Today, it remains one of the UK’s most recognisable landmarks and forms a part of the Tower Buildings complex, which also includes the Tower Circus and the Tower Ballroom.

Your visit to the Blackpool Tower includes a fascinating 4D cinema experience explaining the history of the Tower, as well as a journey up to the glass-bottomed SkyWalk in the Tower Eye, where you’ll enjoy incredible views over the coast. After, we’ll head to the exquisitely decorated Blackpool Ballroom, where you’ll enjoy a cream tea. Then it’s traditional fish and chips out on the town for dinner!

Day 3 Visit Lakeland Farm

Today, we board the accessible coach and head north into the spectacular landscapes of the Lake District. One of the UK’s most beloved National Parks, the Lake District boasts a unique topography and history. As a result, it developed a style of fell farming based on common land rights and hefted grazing that is so distinct, it was the principal reason the region was afforded the UNESCO World Heritage designation.

To learn more about this history, we’re heading to Lakeland Farm - a fantastic working farm nestled between Windermere and Staveley. There, we’ll meet the animals, catch an arena show and chat to the farmers about farming in the area. We’ll also enjoy a bite to eat in the on-site Farm Café, where you can sample some of the local produce.

On Day Four of your accessible Blackpool holiday, we’ll venture back out to the idyllic Lake District to visit England’s largest natural lake - Windermere. The lakeside cafe is a great spot to grab a coffee, snack or light lunch while soaking up the awe-inspiring mountain backdrop, then we’ll board our accessible vessel for a gentle cruise across Windermere’s calm waters.

In the afternoon, we’ll head back to Blackpool and make our way to the Golden Mile, where Blackpool’s sensational Illuminations light up the night and create a truly unforgettable atmosphere. Lighting up the streets and seafront for more than a century, the town’s phenomenal illuminations have a genuine claim to being the world’s most historic light show. And now you’re a part of that history, too!

Day 5 Breakfast & Travel Home

Today, your Blackpool Illuminations Tour comes to an end. After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll board the accessible coach and depart for our various UK drop-off locations. How do I book a UK coach holiday?

The first step in the booking process is speaking to a Limitless Travel Advisor on 0800 711 7112. While many Limitless Travellers contact us knowing exactly which coach holiday they want to book, many also call us for advice. We often help our travellers pick out the perfect holiday based on their needs and interests. So don’t hesitate to get in touch, even if you’re not sure which holiday to book yet.

When you’re ready to book, you’ll pay a deposit to confirm your place. The remainder of the balance is payable closer to the departure date. Flexible payment plans are available, allowing you to spread the cost of your holiday.

You will also discuss your holiday and needs with your Personal Travel Advisor to ensure you have the best possible care package and everything has been considered. Finally, the Limitless Care Team will contact you three months before departure to confirm you have all you need, are happy with arrangements, and are ready for your Limitless holiday.

Where are your coach holiday pick-up points?

We operate 45 unique pick-up locations across the UK, including major cities such as Birmingham, London, Bristol and Manchester. So there’s a very good chance we have one close to you.

Not every pick-up location is available on every tour. With this in mind, if you’re interested in a particular coach holiday, we recommend contacting a Limitless Travel Advisor to confirm your nearest departure point. You can reach the limitless team on 0800 711 7112.

On arrival at your preferred pick-up location, keep an eye out for the Limitless Team. We’ll be wearing dark blue Limitless-branded tops and always make sure we’re easy to find. The team will help you store your luggage in the coach and assist with boarding.

What kind of accessible coach transport will I travel on?

We use the same transport provider for all our coach holidays, so we can guarantee a consistent experience and ensure Limitless Travellers’ needs are always met. Our accessible coaches are purpose-built specialist vehicles and all equipped with Hidral Gobel or PLS lifts rated to 300 kg. All drivers have been trained in their use by the coach company’s certified lift technicians.
