Cruise the Norwegian Fjords this Spring — Accessible Cabins Going Fast
Iona is P&O's newest ship, which means it’s built to much higher accessibility standards than the older fleet.
It’s easier to get around, the cabins have more room to move, and the layout is much more open. If you want a holiday where you don't have to constantly check if a doorway is wide enough or a lift is big enough, this is the ship to go for.

Moving around the ship is easy. Most doors to the public decks, lounges, and restaurants are sensor-operated or open at the push of a button, so you can move between the different areas of the ship independently.
You have full access to the water in the SkyDome. The ship uses modern, moveable hoists that work for both the main swimming pools and the hot tubs, so you can choose exactly where you want to take a dip.
Because it’s a newer ship, the layout is much more open. The wide hallways and large lifts mean you can get to any bar, restaurant, or theatre without having to scout out a special route or worry about getting stuck.
