Dotted with countless islands and set against the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic, Croatia boasts remarkable natural beauty. White sandy beaches stretch for miles, the Dinaric mountains soar above the horizon and Napoleonic forts and Roman ruins, remnants of the empires that once ruled this land, are scattered across the landscape. At the heart of it all, is Dubrovnik - one of the most enchanting cities on the planet and the perfect holiday destination.

On your accessible Croatia tour, we'll be based in Dubrovnik, from which we'll explore the coast and surrounding area. You'll have the opportunity to visit an underwater kingdom at the Adriatic Sea Aquarium, tour the city's landmarks and discover the sites where the hit TV show Game of Thrones was filmed. You'll also enjoy a trip back in time at the Red History Museum.

There will be plenty of time spent relaxing beneath the Croatian sun and making the most of the country's incredible natural wealth, too. We'll spend a day on the accessible Copacabana beach, experience the city from above on a cable car ride and tour the idyllic Elafiti Islands by boat.

The Itinerary

Day 1 - Travel and Settling In

The journey begins! Today, you’ll meet our support team at the airport. We’re there to ensure your flight is as smooth and hassle-free as possible, so don’t hesitate to ask for assistance or support if you require it. On arrival in Dubrovnik, we’ll board our accessible transfer vehicle and head to your beautiful hotel. Your accommodation has an outdoor heated pool with easy access ramp entry and is situated close to the beach. The Limitless Team will help you check-in and get your bags to your room and in the evening we’ll enjoy a delicious three-course meal.

Day 2 - Adriatic Sea Aquarium Visit

After a leisurely start to the day and a hearty breakfast, we’ll make our way to the Adriatic Sea Aquarium. Set within the walls of St Ivan - an imposing medieval fortress - the aquarium is home to a bewildering array of underwater creatures, including conger eels, a loggerhead turtle, sea horses and triggerfish. All of the Aquarium’s water is pumped in from the Adriatic, ensuring a perfect environment for the animals and allowing fish and coral to flourish.

Day 3 - Game of Thrones Tour

Dubrovnik played a major role in the much-loved Game of Thrones series and was chosen as the filming location for King’s Landing. Today, we’ll tour the medieval city and be shown some of the most iconic spots from the HBO series. We’ll be accompanied by an experienced guide, who will tell us a little bit about each location’s relevance to the series, while also providing some real-life historical context. Don’t worry if you haven’t seen the TV show, you’ll still find this tour of the picturesque old town an absolute delight!

Day 4 - Red History Museum & Open Air Market

From the final days of the Second World War until the end of the Cold War in 1990, Croatia was ruled by a one-party communist regime. This period defined modern Croatia and has had an enormous impact on the country you see today. On Day Four of your holiday, we’ll be diving a little deeper into this history with a visit to the fantastic Red History Museum. There you’ll enjoy a fascinating insight into what life in socialist Yugoslavia was really like. In the afternoon we\'ll head over to the open-air market in the old town to browse the stalls and get a feel for everyday life in Dubrovnik. Make sure you sample a little travarica - a grape-based brandy infused with herbs that remains one of the most popular drinks in the region.

Day 5 - Copacabana Beach Day

Today, we’ll make the most of the Croatian sun by visiting the fully accessible Copacabana Beach. A spectacular stretch of coast, where the turquoise waters of the Adriatic lap at pristine, white sands, Copacabana benefits from a range of disabled friendly facilities, including beach wheelchair hire. There are also plenty of cafés and restaurants in the vicinity, so you can cool off with an ice-cold beverage whenever you fancy.

Day 6 - Dubrovnik Cable Car Ride

On Day Six, we’ll rise high above Dubrovnik in the city’s fantastic cable car route. Boasting unbeatable views of the old town and the Adriatic, this is an excellent opportunity to step away from the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik and enjoy a fresh perspective on its breathtaking limestone streets and terracotta rooftops. There’s also a great café at the top of the lift, where we’ll stop for some refreshments and snacks while soaking up the panorama below.

Day 7 - Boat Tour of Elafiti Islands

Today, we’ll board an accessible boat for a guided tour of the Elafiti Islands. Largely uninhabited, the islands are situated just off the coast of Dubrovnik and boast remarkable natural beauty. On the tour, we’ll be making a stop at three of the islands, while also taking in the Kolocep Caves and the Blue Cave swimming spot. Our captain for the day is an Elafiti native and will welcome us into his home for a sumptuous five-course, home-cooked lunch. It’s the perfect way to end your incredible, accessible Croatia holiday!

Day 8 - Until Next Time

Today, your accessible Croatia Tour comes to an end. After a satisfying breakfast, the Limitless Team will help you transfer to Dubrovnik Airport and board your flight. Then it’s time to head back home! Now, all that’s left to do is say farewell to new friends and plan your next Limitless adventure!

The Hotel - Dubrovnik

Located beside the beach and within walking distance of Dubrovnik's Old Town, your three-star, luxury hotel is fully accessible throughout and features excellent facilities. As well as spacious bedrooms, wet rooms and roll-in showers, it's also equipped with an outdoor pool with ramp access. The on-site restaurant benefits from alfresco seating and serves up a hearty breakfast and delicious evening meal every day, both of which are included in the price of your holiday.

In the evening you’ll be served dinner for every night of your stay. Please note, evening meals are not included for any fly-to tours labelled as ‘Bed and Breakfast’.
