Enjoy a summers cruise through the Fjords, towering mountain scenery, the fresh waterfall sprays on your face, local fishing towns and stunning sunsets, this tour takes you cruising through the 26 mile long Lysefjord, the city of Bergen, the ‘King of the Fjord’ Sognefjord and many more.

Today your adventure begins! Either join our door to door transfer to the cruise port or park your car in the ports parking; before we board Fred Olsen’s Balmoral cruise ship. This small but mighty ship is able to navigate some of Europes best kept scenic secrets.
Our care team will help you check-in your bags, after which they’ll be taken directly to your room leaving you ready to settle straight into your holiday.

After Breakfast, the ship arrives at first of its many destinations, today you will cruise through the Fjords and take in all the scenery, make sure you pick a spot with a view for a coffee, lunch or even afternoon tea.
First we cruise through the 26 mile long Lysefjord, located in the south west of Norway. Nested in between mountains, lightly coloured granite rock and reflective waters it’s a great Fjord to start with on our Limitless Adventure.
Limitless suggest you get a deck side seat for Lysefjord so you can feel the mist from the waterfalls, see the stunning array of orchids and tall mountain views.

After a hearty breakfast, we get the chance to disembark from the ship in the wonderful city of Bergen, Norway’s second largest city.
Just 1km away from the old castle grounds there’s plenty to see and do. With art museums, shops and cafes or even just taking in the scenery from Mount Floyen, the Limitless Team will be on hand to ensure you make the most of your day.
Your 5 course à la carte dinner will be served on the Balmoral as we set sail to our next destination.

On Day 4 the ship will anchor in the beautiful town of Eidfjord, with a population of just 1000 people, the town depends on the income from tourists. Eidfjord is surrounded by towering mountains and crystal coloured lakes, making time slow down a little.
The Balmoral will still be hosting a range of activities while the ship ports, you could take this opportunity to enjoy some day time activities. Have a dip in the swimming pool, grab a bite to eat or for the competitive ones head to the card room for a challenge.
After lunch the Borealis will cruise though the ‘Queen of the Fjords’ Hardangerfjord then onto Maurangerfjord & Furebergfossen, Furebergfossen is home to the stunning Furenbergfossen Waterfall. Remember your cameras for the ultimate photo opportunities.
After dinner enjoy an evening on deck as you cruise through the final destination of the day, Akrafjord & Langfoss Waterfall.

After a group breakfast on the ship, we head towards the “King of the Fjords” Sognefjord. Sognefjord is the larger and deepest fjord in Norway. Let time stay still a little while you enjoy the still of the fjord, the steepness of the surrounding mountains and the defending waterfalls.
After lunch on the Balmoris we cruise along the Lustrafjord and Luster area. Deemed one of the most beautiful spots in the country. Lustrafjod is where the fjords meet the top of Norway. Where the landscape views of the mountains and Glaciers never end.
After a three course evening meal today’s Fjords cruising ports in Skjolden, a small fjord village located at the end of the seconds largest Fjord in the world, Sognefjord.
Enjoy an evening of on board entertainment before heading to your cabin for the next day of fjord adventures.

On day 6 we wake up in the sixth longest Norwegian Fjord, located in Western Norway. Discover isolated villages, peaceful valleys and well-kept farms.
Enjoy breakfast on ship while we cruise through Nordfjord & Innvikfjord to the charming village of Olden, that sits among green meadows, foaming waterfalls and blue glaciers.
The ship will anchor port in Nordfjord the day giving you time to take in the views or enjoy the Balmoral’s many amenities, whether it’s the heated pools, library or some duty free shopping. There’s plenty on board to suit everybody.
A 5 course A la cartè meal will be served in the Balmorals main restaurant Ballindallocch while we cruise through Hornelen where it is said a troll lives in the northeast of the mountain. Enjoy the on board entertainment all with the help from the Limitless Team.

After a fun evening on board, enjoy a breakfast, either in your room or at the restaurant, as we spend our last day in the fjords before sailing back. Today we cruise through Andalsnes, located in the heart of Romsdalen, the town is one of the most scenic areas of Norway, why not treat yourself to an onboard afternoon tea while we cruise though our final destination of Romsdalfjorden & Isfjorden. This being one of the longest Norwegian Fjords. Sail deep into the majestic Romsdalsfjorden where you meet Isfjorden. Isfjorden is the innermost part of Romsdalsfjord famous for its natural landmarks, Romsdalshorn and Trollveggen.
Maybe enjoy a more relaxed evening meal in the Palmes Cafe then head to the Neptune Lounge for music and cabaret to finish off your time in the Fjords.

Today is all about relaxing at sea. Enjoy a restful morning with the limitless team where we enjoy the ship for the last day at sea. Join in activities that are on throughout the whole day. Treat yourself to a dip in the heated pool or enjoy the tranquil Atlantis Spa. Grab a drink at the Marquee Bar and enjoy the sunshine on deck. Finally don’t forget to get your last minute duty free shopping in.
On the evening your limitless team will ensure you enjoy your last evening on board as you wish. Maybe fine dine for the last time, hit the cabaret our just enjoy each others company, memories and photos of over the last week in one of the ships many lounges.

Today we arrive back in Rosyth. After your last breakfast, we’ll help you check-out. Your bags will be taken down by the Fred Olsen crew and our care team will be on-hand to assist you. From here you will join the transfers back to the pick-up points, relaxed, rejuvenated and ready for your next Limitless adventure. We can’t wait to see you again!

The Balmoral boasts itself on being perfectly suited for taking guests further than other cruise lines, being smaller makes the ship more able to explore exciting ports and channels for more picturesque cruises. Although smaller in size she makes up in her spacious cabins, restaurants, open deck spaces and public areas.
Full board: all meals are included in the price of your cruise holiday for complete ease and mouth-watering luxury at sea. There’s also an option to add a ‘drinks package’, which can be done either before or during your cruise.
Included within your package with Limitless is a transfer from home (first 100-miles included, thereafter charged at £2.50 a mile) to Rosyth Cruise Terminal. We will take a detailed-note of your needs at the time of booking, whether you can self-transfer or able to manage or need help with bags etc. We will always make sure you have the right transfer in place, to get your safely to the ship.
