Jersey, the largest of the Channel Islands, lies just off the tip of France with plenty of sunshine guaranteed. Our Jersey Explorer tour takes you around the twelve picturesque parishes of this beautiful island, famed for its fine Jersey cows. Relax on the accessible beach, tour the island and gaze at the beautiful nature of The Durrell Wildlife Park. This is one of the most sought-after holidays in the Channel Islands.
Our Jersey hotel has been hand-selected by members of the Limitless Travel team for its excellent disabled facilities. The hotel staff endeavour to provide everything guests may require in their tailored accommodation. We can provide electric beds to ceiling hoists, as well as wheel-in wet rooms and a large hydrotherapy pool. Travellers can relax safe in the knowledge that there will be a Limitless Travel team member on hand throughout the holidays to provide any assistance required.
Please note, our September departure will be operating as a "Fly To" and will require booking a flight instead of taking the ferry. Please speak to our Sales Advisors for any further information.
Spend the morning relaxing in the sun at your accessible hotel and taking a dip in the pool, which has its own pool hoist included for easy access. There are also pleasant gardens to relax in, making it one of the top disabled friendly hotels in Jersey Channel Islands.
Today, you’ll be visiting St Helier. One of Jersey's twelve parishes, St Helier is the capital of the island and a great place to do a spot of high street shopping and sightseeing. With a stunning harbour, as well as lots of museums to choose from, Saint Helier is the cultural centre of the Island. Your tour manager will guide you around the capital's coastline, visiting the Victorian pier. There you will find stands full of freshly caught famous Jersey fish such as cockles and mussels. After which, you will board a fully accessible boat for a tour of the island from the sea. It is likely that you will see the local dolphins and seal colonies!
Visit the Durrell Wildlife Park which is home to around 120 species of exotic animals, many of them from critically endangered populations! Occupying some of the most beautiful areas of Jersey’s countryside, Durrell Wildlife Park is thirty-two acres of lush rolling valleys, streams and waterfalls. With accessible paths through reserve areas you will be greeted by bears, gorillas and orangutans as well as free-roaming tamarin monkeys.
Discover Jersey's fascinating history and culture on a fully guided tour of the island. You will enjoy panoramic views of the cliffs and coastline, enjoy a coffee in one of the twelve parishes, and have a chance to pick up some souvenirs too. After some lunch, end the day with a scenic drive along the north coast where you can see the coast of France and the other islands.
Spend your final day exploring the local countryside, including the beautiful St George Church, or perhaps take it easy at your accessible home, which by now we're sure you'll love and won't want to leave! In the evening we'll round off our trip with a delicious BBQ dinner on the terrace as we cheers to new friends and amazing memories.
After a hearty breakfast sharing stories of your time in Jersey it is unfortunately then time to say goodbye. Your Limitless representative will be on hand to assist with check out and they will travel back home with you until we reach your drop off point. Until next time on another memorable Channel Island holiday!
