Holiday Overview
The largest lake in Italy and home to several of the country's most picturesque and atmospheric towns, Lake Garda has attracted visitors for hundreds of years. Situated at the foot of the Dolomites and within easy reach of both Venice and Verona, this spectacular region is the perfect holiday destination. Boasting mouth-watering Italian cuisine, a fantastic climate and culture aplenty, Lake Garda will take your breath away and leave you desperate for more.
On your accessible Italian holiday, we'll spend several days exploring the lake and make a number of day trips to nearby cities, including Verona and Venice. Along the way, you'll visit a local vineyard, where you'll sample a range of regional wines and tuck into a traditional Italian lunch, and also experience two of Lake Garda's best-loved towns, Desenzano Del Garda and Sirmione.
In Verona, we'll tour the city's iconic landmarks and visit several locations with close ties to Shakespeare's most famous work, Romeo and Juliet. In Venice, you'll be shown the sights aboard an accessible boat, discovering the city as intended - from the water! With stops at the Piazza St Marco, Canale Grande and the islands of Murano and Burano, you'll enjoy all the glitz, glamour and beauty of one of the world's most unique cities.
Of course, there'll also be plenty of time to relax on Lake Garda's idyllic beaches, soak up the mountain views and explore the lake at your own pace.
