Summertime in Norway delivers a spectacular cruise experience. Aboard the Ambience you'll be gliding effortlessly through stunning fjords, mountains, and vibrant blue waters. This 7-night sail also includes visits to Bergen, Flam, Loen, and Stavanger.
While many will be heading south chasing the sun, we'll be setting a course north towards the world-renowned scenery of the Norwegian Fjords, a cruise holiday haven.
Over the course of 8 memorable days you'll be embarking on a relaxing journey, gliding effortlessly through the fjords which are set against a stunning mountainous landscapes and crystal-clear blue waters. En route you'll explore some of Norway's most delightful villages and towns, all whilst enjoying the luxuries of Ambassador's flag ship cruise liner the Ambience.
Departing from Tilbury in London, you will travel north to your first port of call, Bergen. Situated on the southwestern coast of Norway. This historic port showcases vibrant wooden houses, reminiscent of its past as a focal point for the trading empire of the Hanseatic League. Next, we head to explore the charming village of Flam. Take your time to explore the picturesque wooden shops scattered around the harbour, before we then make our way to Loen. This region boasts some of the country's oldest Viking Age farmsteads, adding a historical touch to its natural allure. Then it's off to your final port of Stavanger, which was founded in 1125!

Your adventure begins! Get picked up from your front door with our home-pick up service (free within the first 100 miles), or make your own way to the port. Departing from Tilbury in London the Limitless staff will be on hand at the port to help everyone get checked in and settled on board the Ambience. It's then time to explore the ship and set sail for the Norwegian Fjords.
Your first full day on board provides the perfect opportunity to get to know your group and make some exciting plans for the days to come. With a wealth of onboard activities there's always something to see, do, and enjoy! The Limitless team will be there to support you in making the very most of your holiday, whether that be heading to the theatre for a world-class show, or simply kicking back by the pool with a good book.
Land ahoy! After a delicious breakfast the Limitless team will be available to assist everyone in disembarking the ship for the first port visit of Bergen. Nestled on the southwestern coast of Norway, Bergen welcomes you with a stunning backdrop of mountains and fjords as you approach. With its picturesque wooden houses dotting the hillsides, it creates a spectacular postcard-like scene.
Bergen also offers a plethora of attractions, from museums to an aquarium, providing ample opportunities for exploration. Or you can choose to unwind at a local café or restaurant, leisurely watching the world go by in the tranquil surroundings.
Today you will arrive in Flam. Nestled right at the end of one of the branches of the 205 km Sognefjord – Norway’s longest and deepest fjord. Flam is a small port surrounded by steep mountains and epitomises the nordic culture with its relaxed atmosphere, friendly people, and spectacular views. After enjoying all the location has to offer you will then rejoin the ship and set sail early evening up the fjords enjoying the beautiful scenery of Aurlandsfjord and Sognefjord.
Please Note: Flam is a small Port and therefor it is not always possible for ships to dock, meaning a tender boat may sometimes be used which may not be accessible for all. But not to worry, the ship will anchored so that you can enjoy the natural beauty from the comfort of the deck. It is also a good opportunity to enjoy some activities on ship that are usually busier or may have special offers on as it is a port day.
A new day, another port of call. Today you'll arrive at the charming village of Loen. Tucked away in the serene depths of the Nordfjord region, this small village reveals some of Norway's most awe-inspiring landscapes. Loen also boasts its own wheelchair-friendly skylift. Ascend and enjoy panoramic views extending over the village and the fjords below.

Stavanger is our last port of call and the perfect way to end our journey exploring the beauty of the Norwegian coastline. Once a Viking stronghold, the city is famed for the beautiful wooden homes that dominate its historic centre. The cruise ship will dock just a 10-minute walk from the city centre, so you’ll be able to make the most of your time in this picturesque destination.
After an incredible time exploring the best of the Norwegian Fjords today offers the chance to once again enjoy the entertainment on board the Ambience as we set sail for home. After your last breakfast, we’ll help you check-out. Your bags will be taken down by the crew and our care team will be on-hand to assist you. From here you will join the transfers back to the pick-up points, relaxed, rejuvenated and ready for your next Limitless adventure. We can’t wait to see you again!
The Ambience promises a comfortable and enjoyable stay while at sea. With a 1,400-guest capacity and a meticulous design, the ship offers an ideal balance of creating a lively atmosphere onboard, but also plenty of opportunity and space for relaxation.For entertainment, the options abound, with 11 different lounges and bars, a large theatre, casino, shopping gallery, library, coffee house, craft studio, pool & hot tub (no hoist), and a wellness centre and Spa.

Going from home to holiday has never been easier. We'll pick you in an accessible minibus, transferring you directly to the port where our team will be waiting to assist with check in.
This door to door transfer service is included free of charge each way for journeys within 125 miles of the port. For any journeys greater than 125 miles a charge of £3.25 per mile will apply (up to a maximum distance of 250 miles).
Please note, if you live in the following regions: Yorkshire, North East England, Wales, then an additional charge of £200 may be applied to your booking. This is due to our drivers needing to travel the night before to ensure pick up can be completed at the scheduled time on departure day.
