Day 1 Travel to Tenerife

After meeting the Limitless Team at the airport special assistance desk, we’ll make our way through security and head for our boarding gate together. We recommend booking special assistance with the airport before flying if required, but the Limitless team will also be on hand to provide additional support as we check in and board the plane. We're there to ensure the airport experience is as easy as possible, advocate on your behalf, and give you the confidence to fly, so we'll be by your side throughout the journey.

On arrival at our destination, the Limitless Team will help you through the airport and onto the awaiting accessible transfer vehicle. From there, it’s on to your excellent disabled-friendly hotel, where we’ll check in, get you settled and comfortable in your room, and enjoy a delicious evening meal with your fellow guests. 

Day 2 Pool Day and Settling In

Your first full day in paradise is an opportunity to relax, unwind and take it easy. Whether you want to kick back with a book and get started on that holiday reading, take a dip in one of the hotel’s three accessible pools, or soak up the sun and top up your tan, your accommodation provides the perfect setting to do so. If you’ve got itchy feet and want to get out exploring, Los Cristianos’s vibrant town centre is within easy reach.

In the evening, a special Christmas Eve meal will be served at the hotel. It’s the perfect way to prepare for the big day itself, as you’ll tuck into great food, get to know your fellow Limitless Travellers and enjoy a wonderfully festive atmosphere.

Merry Christmas! Today, we celebrate a cracker of a Christmas Day with a fantastic Tenerife twist. Following a relaxed breakfast, we’ll stroll along the beachfront, taking in the gorgeous morning view and working up an appetite. Then, it’s time to get festive and kick off our traditional Christmas Day dinner.

As well as a delightful meal, there’s Christmas entertainment, holiday games and even a gift from the Limitless Team for each of our guests. You will have plenty of time to enjoy the fabulous Tenerife sun and make the most of the sensational weather, ensuring this is a Christmas that lives long in the memory.

Day 4 Boxing Day on the Beach

Boxing Day is all about taking it easy and recovering from the excess of the big day itself. With this in mind, we’ll spend the 26th on a fully accessible local beach, enjoying the island’s spectacular sun, sand and sea. Located a short distance from the hotel, this beautiful stretch of coast features wheelchair-accessible decking and assisted bathing services.

Whether you want to cool off in the temperate waters or relax and top up your tan on the sand, you’ll receive all the support you need to make the most of the day. As the evening draws in, we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner together. After, we’ll have a little entertainment for anyone who wants to continue the celebrations.

Day 5 Accessible Island Boat Trip

Situated out in the Atlantic, off the North African coast, Tenerife is famous for its turquoise waters and astounding marine wildlife. Today, you’re experiencing both with a spectacular accessible boat trip. Out on the water, there’s a good chance you will see dolphins, turtles and maybe even pilot whales. As well as revealing striking views of the island and towering Mt Teide, the boat will head to nearby caves for an up-close look at Tenerife’s hidden coastline.

For lunch, we’ve booked a fantastic Italian restaurant that will have all you spaghetti fans licking your lips. Then, in the afternoon, you can choose to remain on the beach or head back to the hotel for a dip in the accessible pool. Whatever your decision, the Limitless Team will remain on hand to provide support and assistance whenever necessary.

Day 6 Optional Seaside Excursions

Today, Tenerife’s natural beauty takes centre stage. We have a range of extra excursions and activities available and would be happy to help arrange and book an accessible day out. Have you always wanted to go dolphin spotting? Would you love to get up close to one of the ocean’s most majestic creatures with a whale watching experience? How about accessible paragliding for you adrenaline junkies out there?

While these excursions are not included in the price of your holiday, our relationship with the providers means we can offer them at a competitive cost. All the excursions have been tried and tested by Limitless Travel staff to ensure they are suitable for our holidaymakers, and the tour team will be present to offer any support and assistance you need.

Day 7 A Thrilling Flamenco Show

With spine-tingling singing, lightning-fast guitar work and unique Iberian rhythms, Flamenco is one of Spain’s most iconic art forms. Originating in Andalusia, it blends Arabic, Spanish and Gitano influences and encompasses song, dancing, footwork and complex clapping patterns, resulting in a sophisticated musical system that packs a raw emotional punch. The Canary Islands boast a strong flamenco tradition, with plenty of mainland Spain’s biggest names travelling to Tenerife’s famous venues.

To experience this magical art, we’ll head to the most authentic flamenco show on the island for a thrilling performance. By the end of it, we expect you to know your alegrías from your bulerías and to have mastered those quick-fire flamenco clapping rhythms!

With its spectacular coastal pools, beautiful boardwalk and traditional restaurants, Puerto de la Cruz is one of Tenerife’s most charming towns. Located on the island’s north coast, it has been a popular tourist destination since the Victorian era, and it’s easy to see why. Its laidback atmosphere makes it a delight to explore, and its multicultural feel is epitomised by the town’s famous German bakeries, which produce a variety of fantastic sweet treats.

Puerto De La Cruz is also endowed with plenty of historic sites and cultural landmarks. History buffs will love the Casa de la Aduana, La Peña de Francia church and the Marquesa Hotel, while nature lovers will adore the botanical gardens. In the evening, we’ll return to the hotel for dinner, followed by evening entertainment organised by the Limitless Team.

Today, we see in the new year in style, with an evening of fun-filled celebrations. During the day, you can soak up the sun by the pool, get stuck into your holiday reading on the beach or take a stroll into town, ensuring you’re well-rested and ready to enjoy the final hours of the year.

It’s a special night, so we’ve arranged a mouthwatering New Year's Eve Gala Meal and some evening entertainment. As the clock strikes midnight, we’ll all usher in the New Year with the Spanish tradition of the Twelve Grapes, popping a grape into your mouth with each chime of the clock until it’s bursting with grapes. With the warm weather, delicious food and great company, it’s a fantastic way to celebrate.

Happy New Year! Following last night’s celebrations, we won’t be rushing anywhere. It’s a day to kick back and begin the year as you mean to carry on – happy, relaxed and surrounded by good people. A cooling dip in the accessible pool is sure to sort out any lingering consequences from last night, while a little sunbathing will ensure your tan’s in tip-top condition before you head home.

If there’s anything you would like to spend your last full day on the island doing, please talk to your Tour Manager in advance. There’s a wide range of optional excursions and activities available, and we would be happy to help arrange them on your behalf.

Today, your accessible holiday comes to an end. After breakfast, the Limitless Team will help you transfer to the airport. We’ll be on hand to help you through the airport, while you’re boarding the plane and during your flight. Once we touch down in the UK, we’ll accompany you through to arrivals and wave you off on your journey home. We’ll see you next time!

How do I book a UK short-haul holiday?

The first step in the booking process is speaking to a Limitless Travel Advisor on 0800 711 7112. While many Limitless Travellers contact us knowing exactly which short-haul holiday they want to book, many also call us for advice. We often help our travellers pick out the perfect holiday based on their needs and interests. So don’t hesitate to get in touch, even if you’re not sure which holiday to book yet.

When you’re ready to book, you’ll pay a deposit to confirm your place. The remainder of the balance is payable closer to the departure date. Flexible payment plans are available, allowing you to spread the cost of your holiday.

You will also discuss your holiday and needs with your Personal Travel Advisor to ensure you have the best possible care package and everything has been considered. Finally, the Limitless Care Team will contact you three months before departure to confirm you have all you need, are happy with arrangements, and are ready for your Limitless holiday.

Flights FAQs

Are flights included in the cost of a Limitless short-haul holiday?

No, flights are not included in the cost of your Limitless short-haul holiday. However, we do provide extensive booking support, and your Limitless Personal Travel Advisor is always available to provide information and assist with any matter relating to travel and flights.

How do I book flights for Limitless holidays?

Having booked your Limitless short-haul holiday, we’ll send out flight details approximately three months before the departure date. You are then responsible for booking flights, though assistance and support are always available from your Personal Travel Advisor. You can choose to fly on a different flight to the Limitless Team and your fellow Limitless Travellers, but we will not be able to provide support at the airport or during the flight in this case. We will still arrange an accessible transfer to the hotel for you if you fly independently.

What airports do Limitless fly from and how do I get there?

For short-haul holidays, we aim to have two flight teams – one flying from a London airport and the other flying from an airport further north, typically Birmingham or Manchester. This gives Limitless Travellers greater choice and reduces travel time to and from the airport. The specific airports we use depend on destination, cost, flight availability and departure time. Where possible, we opt for a mid-day flight for your convenience.

Does Limitless liaise with the airport to organise special assistance?

Limitless Travellers are responsible for contacting and organising the special assistance team at the airport. The airport’s special assistance team will help you with check-in, security and boarding, and we recommend using their services if possible. Though the special assistance team will manage most of your airport experience, the Limitless Team will also be on hand to accompany you, provide support and advocate on your behalf.

How do the Limitless Team provide support at the airport and while flying?

The Limitless Team will usually meet you at the airport's special assistance desk, collect and handle luggage, and provide any support necessary. If required, we can schedule regular check-ins during the flight. Our team is highly experienced and regularly accompanies Limitless Travellers on international flights. As such, we're able to make sure your journey is smooth and comfortable, and you feel confident travelling. For Limitless short-haul holidays, we guarantee we'll be there to help whenever you need us.

If you opt for the One-to-One Care package, your carer will meet you at the designated airport and provide dedicated support throughout the airport, flight, transfer and holiday.

How do we transfer from the destination airport to the hotel?

We've arranged accessible transport for the drive from your destination airport to the hotel, so you don't have to worry about transfers at all. We use transfer vehicles that have been vetted to ensure accessibility and are equipped with a ramp or hydraulic lift.
