Once aboard the Iona, you’ll have a chance to settle into your cabin. Private Limitless City Tour & Dairy Farm Visit

Welcome to Rotterdam, one of Europe's most dynamic and innovative cities, and home to a fascinating blend of industrial heritage and modern architecture. Today (or tomorrow, depending on arrival time), you board our accessible transport, accompanied by a professional local guide, for an exclusive Limitless excursion designed to showcase the best of both the city and the surrounding countryside.

Passing the famous Feyenoord Stadium, we will head out into the picturesque Dutch countryside for a private tour of one of the region's traditional, family-run dairy farms. Here, you will learn about age-old Dutch farming techniques, observe the cheese-making process, and sample three delicious regional varieties. Returning to Rotterdam, you will enjoy a comfortable city tour packed with intriguing historical insights and sprinkled with plenty of local flavour. Taking in many of the city's historic landmarks, as well as its bold, contemporary architecture, this is the perfect introduction to one of the Netherlands' most fascinating cities.

Free Time in Rotterdam with Limitless Support

If you arrived early enough to enjoy the Limitless private excursion yesterday, today is an opportunity to explore the city at your own pace, in the way that best suits you. Many guests enjoy visiting the Kijk Kubus Museum to see the city’s iconic Cube Houses, before browsing the nearby Markthal (Market Hall), where more than 100 local food and artisanal produce stalls are located beneath a spectacular arched ceiling decorated with an 11,000-square-meter digital mural.

For those who want a better understanding of Rotterdam's remarkable history, St Lawrence Church is certainly worth a visit. One of the only buildings to survive the city's WWII bombing, it is beautiful (and accessible) inside and out. You could also head to Delfshaven, Rotterdam’s most picturesque neighbourhood. Here, traditional Bruin cafés (local Dutch pubs) and fantastic coffee roasters serve up excellent beverages and snacks, making it the ideal spot to sit back, relax and watch the world go by.

Typically, we all meet in the morning to catch up over breakfast, discuss the day ahead, and plan activities. Explore at Your Own Pace with Limitless Support

Situated along the banks of the Elbe River, 70 miles inland from Travemünde, Hamburg is Germany’s second-largest city and its most important port. As a result, it boasts a wealth of maritime heritage and a fascinating history, much of which is on show during the spectacular sail into port. The water has shaped Hamburg spectacularly, and the city’s extensive waterways mean it’s home to over 2,300 bridges – more than Venice, London, and Amsterdam combined.

Onshore, you can explore the city with the support of the Limitless Team. Wander among the many landmarks in the Altstadt (Old Town) and check out the church steeples, baroque architecture, and beautiful red-brick buildings. Explore Hamburg’s gorgeous green spaces or get a feel for its excellent art scene in the Kunsthalle museum. One of Europe’s most intriguing and underappreciated cities, Hamburg is a delight to experience.

* On some sailings, Hamburg may require guests to disembark via a water tender. Unfortunately, tender operations are not always accessible for wheelchair users or guests with limited mobility.

If a tender is required and you are unable to disembark safely, there's no need to worry. You'll still enjoy a relaxing day on board with the support of the Limitless team, making the most of the ship's excellent restaurants, entertainment and facilities while the ship is at its quietest.

On every Limitless cruise, you are accompanied by our experienced carers, who provide support and assistance to the group throughout the holiday. You will also be joined by a Tour Manager, who is always available and acts as your main point of contact on the ship. While our team are all trained and qualified to provide care, they are also fantastic company and a big part of what makes Limitless holidays so special. 

From helping you navigate the ship and assisting during onshore excursions to chatting over coffee and joining you on deck to watch your next port pull into view, the Limitless Team provides the support and company you need to feel comfortable, confident and capable. Enjoy the Ship at Your Leisure

Today, your ship calls at Zeebrugge - gateway to the Belgian city of Bruges. As Zeebrugge is a closed port and we cannot currently provide accessible transport between the ship and the city, many of our guests stay aboard to experience the Britannia at its most peaceful. This is a fantastic time to relax on deck, enjoy a leisurely lunch, browse the shops, take part in the day's activities, unwind in the spa or find a quiet corner and watch the world go by. After all, discovering the ship is every bit as much a part of your cruise experience as visiting the destinations themselves.

If you would prefer to visit Bruges, there is a chance to do so. Guests can book an organised shore excursion directly with P&O (subject to availability and accessibility requirements). Additional charges apply, and we recommend arranging this before you travel as accessible spaces can be limited. Disembark & Home Drop-Off

Following a final night of entertainment aboard the ship and another breakfast with spectacular sea views, it is time to say goodbye to the Iona and your fellow Limitless Travellers. Having spent five nights aboard the ship, you will have had an opportunity to embrace the modern cruise experience, enjoy the benefits of holidaying with Limitless support, and meet friends who may well join you on your next Limitless cruise.

As always, the Limitless Team will assist with check-out. The ship’s crew will take down your bags, and we’ll help you disembark, make sure you reach your pick-up, and say our farewells. Your transfer will then get you home, dropping you off at your front door.
