We’ll meet you at one of our designated UK pick-up points, help you board our accessible coach and ensure you’re comfortable for the journey. All our coaches benefit from hydraulic lift or ramp access, and wheelchairs can be safely secured in place, so there’s no need to transfer to a standard seat. Similarly, all our drivers have experience working with Limitless Travellers and understand and respect individual access needs.

On arrival, the Limitless Team will help you check in. Then, you’ll have time to relax, unwind and explore your accessible room, before enjoying a delicious meal in the hotel restaurant. Your Tour Manager will round out the evening with a little entertainment for those not quite ready to hit the hay.

Learn more about our accessible transport in our FAQs.

Day 2 Butterfly Centre
Butterfly Centre

Located a short distance from the hotel, the Wye Valley Butterfly Zoo is a riot of colour and spectacular patterning that will give you a new appreciation for these beautiful creatures. The indoor butterfly house benefits from a tropical climate, which makes for a lovely contrast to the cold winter weather outside, and contains over 100 exotic species.

During your time at the Butterfly Zoo, you’ll have a chance to see every stage of the butterfly’s lifecycle, from eggs through caterpillars and chrysalises to the animal’s striking final transformation. Butterflies exploit a range of ingenious survival strategies, and you’ll learn a lot about how they avoid predators, as well as their natural habitat and behaviours. In the afternoon, we’ll head back to the hotel for a delicious dinner and some evening entertainment.

Day 3 Bath City Tour
Bath
Bath

Bath’s gorgeous Georgian architecture attracts visitors from around the world and makes it a strong contender for the UK’s prettiest city. Today, we’ll have the pleasure of touring its remarkable Roman Baths Museum and exploring its ancient past. Established around 2,000 years ago, the Roman baths gave the settlement its name and have been exquisitely preserved. An engaging interactive audio guide will provide plenty of insight into the building’s history and significance.

If you prefer immersing yourself in thermal waters to touring them, we can help arrange a visit to a naturally heated thermal spa. Fully accessible and topped with a warm, open-air pool that boasts fantastic city views, it’s a relaxing and recuperative experience. In the afternoon, there will be a little time to explore the city’s charming shops and cafes, before we return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 4 Forest of Dean Steam Train
Steam train

Nestled between the Severn and the Wye, the Forest of Dean encompasses a stretch of ancient woodland that’s famed for its biodiversity, early industrial heritage and beautiful forested landscapes. Home to several species, including wild boar and large colonies of Greater and Lesser Horseshoe bats, the forest is a delight to explore.

And we’ll be exploring it in style aboard the Dean Forest Railway steam train. A memorable railway ride through some of the most spectacular scenery in the west, the train takes you past pretty rural villages, sweeping forested hillsides and breathtaking landscapes. Following our steam train ride, we’ll head back to the hotel for dinner.

Day 5 Hereford Waterworks Museum
Hereford
Hereford

Though it’s not immediately obvious, the Wye Valley has a long and proud industrial heritage. The prevalence of iron, timber and free-flowing water meant the area was, at various times, famous for its paper milling, tin plating and shipbuilding industries. Today, we’ll make the short journey to Hereford and its excellent Waterworks Museum to explore some of this fascinating history.

Established in 1974, the museum is housed in the Victorian water pumping station that served as Hereford's main water supply station for more than 100 years. It explores the history of drinking water from prehistoric times to the industrial machinery that made large-scale procurement and distribution possible in the Victorian era. Following our museum tour, we’ll have a chance to explore Hereford’s scenic town centre, too.

Day 6 Cotswolds Wildlife Park & Village Tour
Cotswolds

Today, we’ll travel to the heart of the picture-perfect Cotswolds to visit the brilliant Wildlife Park & Gardens. Covering 160 acres, the park is home to an astounding array of species. With more than 130 bird species, as well as giraffes, camels, lions, zebras, wolves, rhinos, anacondas and red pandas, the Wildlife Park is the ideal destination for animal lovers.

Later in the afternoon, we’ll enjoy a scenic drive through the Cotswolds and one of its most famous villages, Bourton-on-the-Water. Known as the “Venice of the Cotswolds”, it features an idyllic river, quaint bridges and gorgeous honey-stone architecture. It epitomises the chocolate box villages the Cotswolds is famed for, and is a wonderful finale to a fun-filled day.

Day 7 Gloucester Cathedral

Tucked between the Severn and the Cotswolds, Gloucester is rich with Roman and medieval history. Its most famous attraction remains its towering cathedral, which traces its origins back to the 7th century. With its spectacular fan-vaulted cloisters and awe-inspiring stained glass windows, it remains one of the finest pieces of medieval architecture in the UK.

As well as playing home to the tomb of Edward II, arguably England’s least capable monarch, it was also used as a filming location in the Harry Potter movies, where its stately corridors became Hogwarts’ magical hallways. Following our visit to the cathedral, we’ll enjoy an afternoon in Gloucester city centre – a great opportunity to pick up a few holiday souvenirs!

Day 8 Breakfast & Travel Home
Limitless Tour Manager

Today, your Cotswolds, Bath, & South West tour comes to an end. After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll board the accessible coach and depart for our various UK drop-off locations. Relax, reminisce with your fellow Limitless Travellers and take in the views. We’ll ensure you’re comfortable for the return journey and look forward to seeing you on your next Limitless holiday!
