Your fantastic Cotswolds, Bath and the South West holiday begins! After boarding our accessible coach at one of the UK pick-up points, we’ll make our way to the Wye Valley. Travellers in wheelchairs can choose to remain in their chair, which will be safely secured into place throughout the journey, or transfer to a standard seat.
On arrival at the hotel, which boasts more than 50 years of experience providing disabled specialist accommodation, the Limitless Team will help you check-in and get your bags to your room. There will be a little time to settle in and make yourself comfortable, then a home-cooked, three-course dinner will be served! After, it’s time for some excellent evening entertainment.
Today, we’ll make the most of your first, full day on holiday by visiting a local butterfly zoo. Nestled in the beautiful Wye Valley, it’s home to a remarkable number of species, including exotic, tropical butterflies and species indigenous to the local area. The zoo actively supports sustainable butterfly farming around the world, helping to ensure this beautiful creature does not become extinct.
At the end of our colourful butterfly adventure, we’ll head back to the hotel for a leisurely Sunday Roast. In the afternoon, you’ll have a chance to take a stroll into the bustling market town of Ross-on-Wye or head down to relax by the river. Come evening, we’ll all dig into a buffet supper and enjoy another round of cracking evening entertainment.
On Day Three, we’ll be travelling to Bath to visit the Roman Baths Museum and spend a little time exploring the city. The baths after which the city is named were established just under 2,000 years ago and, despite briefly falling into disrepair, have been wonderfully restored and preserved. The tour benefits from an interesting, interactive and engaging audio guide.
If you’d prefer to pamper yourself, you can also arrange a visit to a naturally heated thermal spa. Fully accessible, this open-air spa boasts fantastic views of the city.
Today, we’ll board the coach and enjoy the short drive over to the Forest of Dean. There, a traditional steam train awaits you. It will take us through ancient woodland, past local villages and across spectacular forested landscapes, allowing you to better see the outstanding natural beauty of the Wye Valley region.
Today we'll head over to Hereford and explore the Water works museum. There will also be chance to explore the scenic town located on the borders of Wales.
* Please note for April and June the Waterworks Museum is closed & we will be visiting Gloucester Cathedral
Today we will head over to Burford Wildlife Park, where you will come face to face with giraffes, rhinos & much more. After this we will take a scenic drive through Bourton on the Water, known as the Venice of the Cotswolds. This beautiful village has a picturesque river running through.
On your final, full day on holiday, we’ll start with a relaxing morning and then make our way over to Gloucester for a tour around the city’s impressive cathedral. The origins of this imposing example of medieval architecture can be traced back to the Norman invasion and the cathedral has featured in several famous films.
After a little stroll around Gloucester, we’ll travel back to the hotel for a final evening of fabulous food and even better evening entertainment. It will be the last night to enjoy the company of your fellow Limitless travellers, so make the most of it!
Today, your accessible Cotswolds, Bath & the South West Tour comes to an end. After a hearty breakfast, our accessible coach will depart the hotel for our various UK drop-off locations.
