After boarding our accessible coach at one of the UK pick-up points, we’ll start our journey to your disabled-friendly hotel in Plymouth. Located on the border between Devon and Cornwall, this historic maritime city will be the base from which we explore the surrounding region over the next few days.
On arrival at the hotel, the Limitless Team will help you check in and get your bags to the room. Then, it’s time for a delicious three-course dinner, followed by an evening of entertainment hosted by your tour manager.
After a hearty breakfast, we’ll make our way to Plymouth harbour, board an accessible boat and enjoy a leisurely cruise around Plymouth dockyard. Along the way, we’ll pass several important naval sites, while also benefiting from our local tour guide’s excellent local knowledge and fascinating historical insights.Following lunch, we’ll visit the National Marine Aquarium. The UK’s largest aquarium, it’s part of the Ocean Conservation Trust - a charity dedicated to connecting people with the ocean and preserving natural habitats. You’ll have a chance to get up close and personal with rays, sharks, jellyfish, humpheads, triggerfish, lionfish and so much more. One of the most enjoyable and interesting attractions on the south coast, this is a day to be savoured
In the evening, we will get together for another fantastic dinner at the hotel, followed by another round of evening entertainment.
On Day Three of your holiday, we’re going to the enthralling Eden Project. One of the UK’s top attractions, the centre is situated in an enormous, natural crater and consists of a series of large biomes that house the largest indoor rainforest in the world.
You’ll have the chance to see thousands of exotic tropical plants and flowers from every corner of the globe and experience the rainforest first-hand, without ever having to leave Cornwall! A must-visit for anyone in the Southwest, this is a sensational day out!
On Day Four, we’ll leave Plymouth on the accessible coach and drive a short distance down the coast to the beautiful town of Looe. One of the prettiest towns on the Cornish peninsula, Looe is split in two by its eponymous river, with the east and west sides of the settlement linked by a striking bridge.
After exploring the town’s quaint streets and shops we will take you for a delightful cream tea with scones, jam and clotted cream.
If you’re interested in the area’s history, we recommend taking the time to visit the Old Sardine Heritage Centre and if you’re feeling a little peckish, don’t forget to stop by Sarah’s Cornish Pasty Shop for a taste of some traditional Cornish fare.
Today, your accessible Cornwall and South Devon Tour comes to an end. After a hearty breakfast, our accessible coach will depart the hotel for our various UK drop-off locations. Relax, take in the views of the countryside through the window and enjoy a little commentary from your Tour Manager. Now, all that’s left to do is say farewell to new friends and plan your next Limitless adventure!
