Day 3 - Lakeland Farm Visit

< >
Day Three kicks-off with a visit to a traditional, working Lake District farm. A defining feature of the area - the Lake District was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2017 for its historic hill farming culture - the Lakeland farms give you an authentic taste of rural life by the lakes. Starting with livestock and sheep-herding shows, today is all about animal interactions and understanding the day-to-day workings of a functional farm. You’ll have the chance to get up close and personal with the animals, even hand-feeding the lambs if you like, then we’ll head to the farm’s bistro cafe for a sumptuous lunch made with farm-fresh ingredients.
